Arrests

Princess Brewington, of 33 Lincoln St., was arrested on a warrant charge of assault and battery at 7:43 a.m. Sunday.

Alfred Cochrane, 33, of 16 Baker St., was arrested and charged with Class A drug possession and on warrant charges of disrupting court proceedings and threat to commit crime at 6:21 p.m. Friday.

Richard Gordon, 28, of 83 Tuscano Ave., Revere, was arrested and charged with larceny at 8:03 p.m. Friday.

Hakeem Hall, 27, of 143 Bowdoin Ave., Boston, was arrested on warrant charges of license not in possession, speeding, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery on a person 60 or older/disabled at 12:36 a.m. Saturday.

Bakari Jones, of 17 W Baltimore St., was arrested on warrant charges of receiving stolen property and assault at 12:44 p.m. Saturday.

Aaron Mwankuga, 26, of 78 Central Ave., Apt. 411, was arrested and charged with motor vehicle breaking and entering with theft at 6:29 a.m. Sunday.

Elizabeth Vincens, 37, of 24 Mt Vernon St., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 11:11 p.m. Friday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 11:15 a.m. Friday on Pleasant Street.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 1:33 p.m. Friday at Barnard Street and Atlantic Avenue.

Complaints

A report of 1,000 kids on bikes at 1:56 p.m. Friday on Tedesco Street. A caller reported 1,000 kids on bicycles coming in. An officer reported there were about 100 kids on bikes in the road. The kids were all 13 to 14 years old.

A report of a house lockout at 8:57 p.m. Friday on Warren Road. A car was reportedly stuck in the neighbor’s garage. The homeowners were not home and their daughter was watching the house but had since left for Florida. She gave the fire department permission to see if they could gain access to the garage. Crews removed a window pane in the garage and replaced it with cardboard. The homeowner was happy the cat got out OK.

A report of gunshots at 12:03 a.m. Saturday on Leggs Hill Road. A caller reported hearing what sounded like five to six gunshots behind his house on the lake. Salem Police checked the area and reported all was quiet.

Overdose

A report of a possible overdose at 1:35 a.m. Sunday on Lincoln Avenue. Narcan was used on two people. One of them was taken to Salem Hospital.

Theft

A report of money stolen from the register at 11:22 a.m. Friday on Hawkes Street. A caller reported an employee last saw the cash in the cash box the previous afternoon and estimated there was $150 to $200 in cash missing. She initially reported it as a robbery but didn’t think anyone broke in.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 5:13 a.m. Sunday on Humphrey Street. A caller reported vandalism to a school bus in the parking lot of the high school. One window was cracked with tape on it and the lights of the bus were on.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 5:16 p.m. Friday at 91 Endicott St. and 137 Lowell St.; at 12:47 a.m. Saturday at 20 Endicott St.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 1:34 p.m. Saturday at Walgreens at 229 Andover St. A car into a cement pole was reported; at 5:50 p.m. Saturday at 295 Forest St. and 133 Newbury St.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 2:40 p.m. Saturday at 94 Margin St. A caller reported $800 was taken.

A report of a breaking and entering at 2:51 a.m. Sunday at 75 Russell St.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 6:44 p.m. Friday at Extended Stay America at 200 Jubilee Drive. A house maid reported finding a suspicious device under the sink with wires and batteries sticking out of it. The toy was left behind by a child; at 8:40 p.m. Friday at 100 Foster St. and 3 Birney St. A group of men were reportedly pointing a gun down the street. An officer reported it was a camera with a scope on it; at 4 a.m. Saturday at 2 Washington St. and 101 Main St. Kids were reportedly pushing each other in a shopping cart; at 2:42 a.m. Sunday at 7-Eleven at 79 Lowell St. A man was reportedly relieving himself in the parking lot.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 10:09 a.m. Saturday at 22 Caller St. A car was keyed overnight.
