Summons

 

Josue Bruno, 43, of 98 Gledhill Ave., Everett, was issued a summons to appear in court on Wednesday at 7:14 a.m. at Condon Circle for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash with property damage at 771 Salem St. and 462S Broadway on Tuesday at 12:27 p.m. Caller reports motorists exchanged papers.

 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with property damage at 15 Summer St. and South Common Street on Tuesday at 2:25 p.m.

 

A report of a motor vehicle crash with personal injury on Tuesday at 3:10 p.m. at 683 Walnut St. and 9 Bluejay Road. Caller reports crash was handled by the Lynnfield Fire Department.

 

A walk-in reported her car was struck in the parking lot at Center Court on Tuesday at 4:43 p.m.

 

Complaints

A caller reported dirt bikes on Lovell Road on Tuesday at 6:08 p.m. Officer reports bike is a registered motorcycle.

 

A caller requested a well-being check on a woman who was panhandling on Tuesday at 6:11 p.m. at 782 Salem St. and 505 Broadway. Officer spoke with the couple. Both are OK and will be leaving the area.

 

Caller reports a black pickup truck is obstructing a lane on Essex Street on Tuesday at 9:41 p.m. Officer reports vehicle is legally parked and there is room for two vehicles.

 

MARBLEHEAD

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 11:21 a.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street.

 

Complaints

A report of a kid doing wheelies in the street at 1:14 p.m. Tuesday on Leicester Road. A caller reported the incident happened as she was backing out of her driveway. She said it has happened in the past to her and she felt that the kid was going to get hit.

A report of a disturbance at 8:41 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant and Rockaway streets. Two drunk males were reportedly causing a disturbance and threatening people. Police reported the men were picked up by a sober person, the wife of one of them, and returned to where they are renting a cottage.

A report of a person on the rocks in distress at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday on Pig Rock Lane. A caller reported there was a person sitting on the rocks at the end of Pig Rock and thought they were in distress. Police reported there was no one on the rocks in distress. There were a few fishermen fishing and they were OK.

 

Theft

A report of a stolen bicycle at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday on Ticehurst Lane.

Arrest

Fernando Manuel Silveira, 56, of 38 Reed St., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday following a call reporting a man in blue jeans and a blue shirt was yelling and trying to punch cars that drive by on Warren Street.

 

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at Summit Plaza at 145 Summit St. at 4:29 p.m on Tuesday; at 44 Oak St. and 47 Washington St. at 10:51 p.m.; at the Salem Five Bank at 210 Andover St. on Wednesday at 12:43 p.m..

 

Complaints

A caller reported he found a stray white Shih-Tzu in the park at 29 Endicott St. on Tuesday at 3:23 p.m. On callback, he reports the owner has been found.

A caller reported a tree down on Tuesday at 4:14 p.m. on Blair Terrace from a Move on Moving truck driving down the street. The Department of Public Works was notified.

 

Report of a woman fainting at Sunshine Laundry at 48 Foster St. on Tuesday at 5:34 p.m. Female refused medical attention.

 

Report of a woman with chest pain on Tuesday at 5:50 p.m. at 1 Hewes Circle. She was taken to the hospital.

 

A burglary attempt was reported on Tuesday at 5:58 p.m. from 282 Lynnfield St. Officer spoke with reporting party who said a check is missing but had minimal information and will be contacting the bank once he gets more information.

 

Caller reported a man was hitting his head on the steering wheel of a gray Mazda sports car at Glen Drive on Tuesday at 6:23 p.m. Officer checked the area but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

 

Report of a needle on the ground found on Tuesday at 9:38 p.m. at Shaws Supermarket at 210 Andover St.  Officer took the item and disposed of it at the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

 

Officer requested at the East End Veterans Memorial Park at 45 Walnut St. on Tuesday at 9:55 p.m. to assist citizen. Daughter met officer in the parking lot to discuss her father’s medical condition. She said he is acting in an irrational manner and is choosing to live on the streets. Father was taken to Salem Medical Center for an evaluation.

 

Caller reports the upstairs neighbor at 23 Osborne St. is playing music too loud and keeping him awake on Wednesday at 1:54 a.m. Officer reports music was turned off upon arrival and all was in order.

 

An overdose was reported on Wednesday at 3:19 a.m. in the basement of 1 Andover Drive. Patient taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

Melissa Suarez-Castano, 20, of 255 Oakwood Ave., was summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday at Marina Restaurant at the Wharf on North Shore Road; at 9:34 a.m. Tuesday at 7-Eleven on North Shore Road; at 11:51 a.m. Tuesday on Washington Avenue. Estuardo Morales-Monteros, 44, of 10 Friend St., Apt. 1, Lynn, was summoned for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; at 2:06 p.m. Tuesday at North Shore Road and Avon Street; at 2:19 p.m. Tuesday at Stop & Shop on Squire Road; at 7:49 p.m. Tuesday on Copeland Circle; at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday on Green Street.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 12 p.m. Monday at Hampton Inn Revere on Lee Burbank Highway; at 6:44 p.m. Tuesday at Revere Police Station on Revere Beach Parkway.

A report of an assault at 8:09 a.m. Monday on Eliot Road. Kamila Ortega, 31, of 19 Eliot Road, Apt. 1, was summoned for assault and battery on a person 60 or older.

A report of a breaking and entering at 7:41 a.m. Monday on Crescent Avenue; at 1:48 p.m. Monday on Belle Isle Avenue; at 2:16 p.m. Monday at Sweeney Avenue and Sargent Street.

 

Theft

A report of a larceny/forgery/fraud at 11:46 a.m. Monday at Mobil Gas Station on Squire Road; at 9:12 a.m. Tuesday at Burlington Coat Factory on Squire Road; at 1:01 p.m. Tuesday at Comfort Inn & Suites on American Legion Highway; at 1:12 p.m. Tuesday on Thayer Avenue; at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at Shirley and Walnut avenues.

Arrest

Paul J. Venuti, 39, of 76 Ship Ave., Apt. 8, Medford, was arrested on a warrant at 1:52 a.m. Wednesday.

 

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 9:36 a.m. Tuesday at Shermans Plaza at 1160 Broadway. The property owner wanted several people who were camping out in tents removed from the property. Police reported the tent was unoccupied upon their arrival; at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at 40 Hurd Ave. A caller reported waking up to an unknown woman screaming for help and banging on his door. Police reported the caller’s wife was locked in the basement by accident.

A report of a suspicious person at 1:52 a.m. Wednesday at Route One Car Wash at 481 Broadway. The property owner reported a man was tampering with equipment inside of the bays. Paul J. Venuti, 39, of Medford, was arrested.

 

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 9:51 a.m. Tuesday at 4 Iron Works Way. A caller reported someone knocked down his mailbox.

 

SWAMPSCOTT

 

Arrest

Edwin Nickerson, 20, was arrested and charged with threat to commit crime and on a warrant at 3:27 a.m. Tuesday.

 

Theft

A report of a larceny at 8:20 a.m. Monday at 5 Cherry Court.
