State Police and Suffolk County D.A. search Revere marshes

REVERE — State Police detectives assigned to the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office searched the area near the Point of Pines on Monday as part of an ongoing investigation.

“There is no public safety threat and residents have no need to worry,” said Suffolk County District Attorney spokesman Jake Wark.

The detectives could be seen lining up and combing through the marsh area for several hours Monday morning.

State Police spokesman David Procopio added that the search is not in connection to any ongoing or current threat to public safety.
