Arrests

William Alvelo, 28, of 520 Chatham St., was arrested and charged with carrying a loaded firearm weapon, possession of a firearm without a firearm identification card, receiving a firearm with a defaced number and unlawful possession of a firearm without a firearm identification card at 2:51 a.m. Saturday.

Elijah Declet, 21, of 6 Greenhill Farm Road, Haverhill, was arrested and charged with trespassing and on warrant charges of assault to murder, carrying a loaded firearm weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building and malicious damage to a motor vehicle at 2:56 a.m. Saturday.

Cheimy Fernandez, 31, was arrested on a warrant at 12:15 p.m. Saturday.

William Gamboa, 23, of 36 Rantoul Ave., was arrested on a courtesy booking at 9:52 a.m. Friday.

Emily Gardiner, 27, of 105 Linwood St., was arrested on warrant charges of OUI drugs, leaving the scene of personal injury, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, Class A drug possession and Class E drug possession at 2:35 a.m. Saturday.

John Gill, 50, of 499 Walnut St., was arrested and charged with number plate violation to conceal, unregistered motor vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle/trailer at 5:23 a.m. Sunday.

Joselito Gonzalez, 46, of 144 Country Club Blvd., Worcester, was arrested and charged with motor vehicle breaking and entering with theft, trespassing, possession of a burglarious instrument, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, malicious destruction of property and common & notorious thief at 9:44 p.m. Saturday.

Christopher Hoyt, 31, of 278 Newbury St., Peabody, was arrested and charged with Class E drug possession and trespassing at 2:40 a.m. Saturday.

Nicolas Lopez-Chavez, 21, of 32 Beacon Hill Ave., Apt. 2, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor and alcohol from an open container in a motor vehicle at 5:55 a.m. Saturday.

Alex Valdez, of 196 Locust St., was arrested on a warrant charge of parole/probation violation at 6:25 a.m. Friday.

A report of an overdose at 9:45 p.m. Friday on Union Street; at 10:44 p.m. Friday on Boston Street; at 10:54 p.m. Friday on Linwood Street.

MARBLEHEAD

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at Pond and Lime streets. A caller reported a rollover crash.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 1:27 a.m. Saturday at Stonybrook and Blueberry roads. A caller reported a man standing in the middle of the street, who later ran behind a tree and then behind a bush in someone’s yard. The caller felt someone should check on the man.

A caller complained about two boats fishing in the area that is marked for swimming at 9:34 a.m. Saturday on Ocean Avenue. The harbormaster was notified.

A report of boys in the street at 2:03 p.m. Saturday at Atlantic and Seaview avenues. A caller reported boys selling lemonade and was concerned as they were out in the street. Police reported the kids were not out in the street.

A report of a boat complaint at 9:14 p.m. Saturday on Mariners Lane. A caller reported seeing flares being set off. She said they appeared to be coming from the area of Riverhead and didn’t know how many were shot. The harbormaster was notified and reported he was going to keep an eye out but had not seen any flares in the area.

Arrests

Christina C. Andrade, 36, of 34 Cabot St., Apt. 4R, Salem, was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license subsequent offense at 8:01 p.m. Friday.

Todd T. Ferrante, 40, of 42 Herrick Road, was arrested on warrants at 4:49 p.m. Friday.

Vidall Sattiewhite, 49, of 42 Chatham St., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation, arrestee furnishing a false name/social security number and on warrants at 6:15 p.m. Friday.

Virginia Ann Wood, 29, of 32 Pinecrest Ave., was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation, trespassing, Class A drug possession, Class B drug possession and Class E drug possession at 4:49 p.m. Friday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 3 p.m. Friday at 99 Central St.; at 10:41 p.m. Friday on Regal Terrace; at 11:19 p.m. Friday at 17 Centennial Drive; at 1:38 p.m. Saturday at 2 Railroad Avenue and 2 Central St.; at 11:09 p.m. Saturday at Congregation Sons of Israel at 1 Elliott Place. A caller reported a car crashed into a fence; at 12:45 a.m. Sunday at 229 Bartholomew St. A caller reported a car crashed into a pole. The driver was taken to Salem Hospital. Police said the driver swerved out of the way of an animal, sideswiped a pole and rolled over; at 11:49 a.m. Sunday at 155 Washington St.; at 2:08 p.m. Sunday at Country Club Motors at 90 Margin St.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run crash at 3:52 p.m. Friday at Budget Pools at 150 Newbury St.; at 5:48 p.m. Friday at 125 Washington St.; at 6:12 p.m. Saturday at Aspen Dental Associates at 5 Sylvan St.; at 7:51 p.m. Saturday on Upham Street. Jonathan James Green, 21, of 39 Upham St., Salem, was summoned for leaving the scene of property damage.

Complaints

A caller reported a man freaking out at traffic at 8:40 p.m. Friday at Starbucks at 240 Andover St.

A report of suspicious activity at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at Jiffy Lube at 230 Andover St. A passing motorist reported there was a man walking on the street and punching the air; at 4:37 p.m. Saturday at Neatco at 474 Lowell St. A caller reported the store’s front door and the register were open. Police reported the employee was downstairs and all was in order; at 9:14 a.m. Sunday at 16 County St. A caller reported a suspicious man walking down the road with a large air compressor.

Fire

A report of a car fire at 3:58 p.m. Friday at 100 Brooksby Village Drive. The call was a false alarm.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 2:47 p.m. Saturday at Sunshine Laundry at 48 Foster St. A caller reported money and a social security card was taken the night before; at 8:02 p.m. Saturday at Brooksby Village at 301 Brooksby Village Drive.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 9:52 p.m. Friday at 14 Trask Road. A caller reported his son’s car was damaged and had video footage of who did it; at 3:21 p.m. Saturday at 16 Keys Drive. A man reported his vehicle was damaged several times over the past year, including a week ago.
