Arrests

Malik Alexander, 22, of 54 Elm St., was arrested and charged with two counts of an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, two counts of number plate violation to conceal identification, failure to stop for police, use of motor vehicle without authority, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, uninsured motor vehicle or trailer, number plate violation, and two default warrant charges at 3:36 p.m. on Friday.

Albert Brown, 65, of 69 North Common St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 2:56 p.m. on Thursday.

Jamie Fredrick, of 15 Shepard St., was arrested and charged with destruction of property worth over $1,200 at 11:49 a.m. on Friday.

Derrick Hall, 52, was arrested and charged with urinating in public at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday.

Mayya Shoykhet, of 201 Essex St., was arrested and charged with doing an unnatural act at 4:17 p.m. on Thursday.

Jonathan Sisson, of 638 Eastern Ave., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at 2:21 p.m. on Thursday.

Candise Walker, 33, of 161 Newbury St., Peabody, was arrested on a warrant charge at 2:55 p.m. on Friday.

Complaints

A caller reported being troubled by a tall male with white hair who loiters in the Bessom Street area at 9:43 a.m. on Thursday. The caller believes the man is an ex-police officer.

A caller reported a scam phone call on Sewall Street at 9:58 a.m. on Thursday; two scam phone calls reportedly talking about the caller’s daughter on Clifton Heights Lane at 1:12 p.m. on Thursday; an email received from someone who claimed they had the caller’s passwords and would expose all their secrets if they didn’t pay a large sum of money on State Street at 3:46 p.m. on Thursday; on Naugus Avenue at 5:06 p.m. on Thursday

A caller reported about $80 was taken out of her vehicle while it was parked overnight on Maple Street at 5:53 p.m. on Thursday

A caller reported hearing two gunshots coming from his neighbor’s house on Harris Street at 12:50 a.m. on Friday. Responding officers confirmed they may have been from a BB gun.

Domenick A. Durbano, 20, of 67 Furness St. Apt. 2, was arrested on warrant charges.

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested and charged with assault and battery on Everard Street.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation reported that Fox Hill Bridge experienced a failure and would be down for 30 minutes at 11:10 a.m. Thursday.

A Lincoln Avenue resident reported that a man was yelling at a young child lying on the ground outside at 12:23 p.m. Thursday. She reported the man was handling the child roughly and she was concerned for the child’s well being. The child’s mother reported the calling party was harassing her and they were simply removing their child from the side of the roadway for his own safety.

A Jasper Street resident reported a white Jeep on the road that had been idling since 7 a.m. at 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

A woman walked into the station to report a cell phone she bought from someone could not be activated because it had been previously lost or stolen at 1:20 p.m. Thursday.

A Riverview Avenue resident reported two aggressive females outside her house looking for her sister at 4:41 p.m. Thursday.
