ROWLEY — A Lynn man was arrested on Tuesday in Rowley after a police investigation revealed that he allegedly viewed, possessed and distributed child pornography.
Darryl Moore, 37, of Lynn and Rowley, was charged with possession of child pornography and dissemination of child pornography.
Rowley Police opened an investigation after detectives received information from a state task force and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating that child pornography distributed over the internet may have come from a computer in Rowley.
Rowley Police executed a search warrant at Moore’s Boxford Road home in Rowley on Tuesday, along with a search of his person at his place of employment in Danvers, where he was arrested.
Rowley Police were assisted in the investigation by West Newbury Police, Georgetown Police, Newbury Police, Lynn Police and the Massachusetts State Police.
