MARBLEHEAD

Arrests

Emmett Leahy, 22, was arrested on a non-Marblehead warrant charge at 9:09 p.m. on Thursday.

 

Complaints

A caller reported a Pepsi truck was parked in front of her shop at Atlantic Ave. that was taking up four parking spots at 10:16 a.m. on Thursday. The caller stated she had never seen such a huge truck and she’s upset it was delivering during her shop’s business hours, claiming her clients don’t want to walk a block to get to her business.

A caller reported she turned from Loring Road onto Leggs Hill Road and there was an elderly man in the middle of the road who seemed confused and didn’t move when she drove towards him at 2:25 p.m. on Thursday. Responding officers found no one fitting the description.

A caller reported the Washington Street sign is missing opposite the Three Cod Tavern at 2:26 p.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported that some signs, which were recently replaced about the trail, have been damaged again at Harbor View Lane at 6:33 p.m. on Thursday.

A caller reported he believed his iPhone was stolen from his work at Nahant Street at 12:02 a.m. on Friday.

A caller reported hearing something smash outside and then heard a male screaming as if he were in pain at Broughton Road. The caller then heard a vehicle take off down the street and she looked outside there was a broken light on the road at 3:58 a.m. on Friday.

 

NAHANT

Accidents

A Maolis Road resident reported her car was struck by a concrete truck at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of a hit and run accident on Nahant Road at 8:46 a.m. Thursday.

 

Complaints

A report of a silver-grey fox on the front yard of 20 Greystone Road at 9:12 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of a large moving truck parked on Castle Road at 2:36 p.m. Wednesday.

A report of kids driving inbound in the outbound lane of the causeway on bikes at 5:52 p.m. Wednesday.

A Wilson Road resident reported his neighbor was washing some type of liquid down the street at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police report the liquid in question was water.

A Central Street resident reported hearing a possible smoke alarm in the are of Town Hall but could not find the exact location of the sound at 7:23 a.m. Thursday. Police report it is coming from a different address, and the resident reported it was her microwave.

A Nahant Road resident reported there has been a gold colored cat at this back door for the past couple of days at 8:46 a.m. Thursday.

Jose Carlos Deandrade, 46, of 7 Park Ave. Apt. 32, was arrested on warrant charges.
