Susan Douglas, of 18 Morris St., was arrested and charged with inhaling glue or a toxic substance at 12:58 p.m. on Wednesday.

Darryl Kelsey, of 3 Curwin Circle, was arrested on warrant charges of possession of a class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws at 2:54 a.m. on Tuesday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash with property damage at Ocean and Atlantic avenues at 10:38 a.m. on Tuesday.

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle crash to a parked car on Bessom Street at 12:41 p.m. on Tuesday.

Complaints

A caller reported to the fire department that there is broken glass and overgrown grass on Robert Road at 8:47 a.m. on Tuesday. The Board of Health was notified.

An anonymous caller reported at 11:59 a.m. on Tuesday they had information about a woman who drops her kids off at the ferry at Front Street to go to children’s island who is driving on a revoked license. The caller went on to say that the woman is an “erratic operator” who texts and drives and doesn’t make her kids put seatbelts on.

A man driving an ice cream truck called to report another ice cream truck that was following him and didn’t have a permit to sell on Ocean Avenue at 1:34 p.m. on Tuesday. Responding officers found no suspicious ice cream truck.

A caller reported they had been scammed out of more than $5,200 with the initial scam call claiming to have sent her a series of bogus checks regarding financial aid at 2:22 p.m. on Tuesday.

A caller reported a large 18-wheeler truck near Orne Street creating a traffic jam at 8:07 p.m. on Tuesday.

A caller reported three cars in the lot on Ocean Avenue with kids inside them drinking, doing donuts, and holding onto the outside of the car while riding around at 10:19 p.m. on Tuesday.

A report of a woman who called her alarm company screaming for help on Farrell Court at 1:28 a.m. on Wednesday. Responding officers were able to gain entry into the home and resolve the situation.

A bus operator called to complain that while he was dropping off passengers at a crosswalk on Clifton Avenue, a car went through his stop lights and the crosswalk and almost hit the pedestrians at 7:29 a.m. on Wednesday.

PEABODY

Accidents

A motor vehicle crash was reported on Monday at 6:10 p.m. on Andover Drive near the former Chandler’s Ice Cream. Officer gave the female driver a ride to the mall.

Crash reported on Tuesday at 9:29 a.m. at the Marriott Hotel at 8A Centennial Drive. Motor vehicles moved to the hotel’s parking lot.  

Complaints

A neighbor near the Seven Hills Group Home at 20 Willowbrae Drive called police to report someone blowing a car horn in front of the group home on Tuesday at 3:47 p.m. Officer spoke with reporting party who said the home’s transportation bus keeps honking the horn to pick up residents. Director was informed and will be contacting the transportation company.   

Reporting party from the Burlington Coat Factory at 310 Andover St. said a man was looking up her dress on Monday at 6:30 p.m. No suspects at this time. Officer will document.

A caller from the Peabody Mobile Park at 252 Newbury St., Apt. 35, reported a truck has been running with the engine on for two hours on Monday at 6:53 p.m. Officer spoke with the operator of the truck who said he will move it to the other side of the Bagel World parking lot to reduce the noise.

Report of fireworks at the Welch School at 50 Swampscott Ave. and people drinking on the field on Monday at 9:23 p.m. Officer did not find any fireworks and all was in order.

A suspicious gray motor vehicle was reported on the side of the road for several hours on Monday at 9:27 p.m. at 3 Magnolia Terrace. Homeowner said they shined a flashlight in the vehicle and the male in his 30s did not move. Motor vehicle was gone when police arrived.

Suspicious motor vehicle reported at the Extended Stay America hotel at 200 Jubilee Drive on Monday at 11:37 p.m. Criminal Investigation Division to check on motor vehicle which was involved in prostitution.   

Animal Control received a call from the sister of an inmate who asked how to surrender her brother’s dog on Tuesday at 9:40 a.m. She was advised to contact the Animal Rescue League.

On Tuesday at 10:22 a.m. a caller from A.S. Bettencourt Construction at 20 Esquire Drive reported her 10-year-old female gray tiger tabby named Nika is missing. Cat was last seen near Esquire Drive on July 8. She is not microchipped and not wearing a collar.

Caller from 20 Sunset Drive reported being harassed on Tuesday at 10:33 a.m. by someone taking pictures of license plate. Officer reports there is no issue and complaints are unfounded.

Report of a German Shepard left in a motor vehicle parked in a handicapped spot on Tuesday at 12:17 p.m. at Pediatric Health Care at 10 Centennial Drive. Officer reports dog was fine, air conditioning was on, no issue.    

Summons

Giovani Zago, 44, of 12208 Inwood Drive, Apt. 402, Woburn, was issued a summons and charged with a threat to commit a crime on Monday at 8:14 p.m.

Mohammed Jamahl Bakhtaoui, 23, of 376 Ocean Ave. Apt. 301, was arrested on warrant charges.

A report of a motor vehicle crash on Lee Burbank Highway at 7:46 a.m. Tuesday; at Paul Revere School at 8:08 a.m. Tuesday; at Burlington Coat Factory on Squire Road at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday; at Showcase Cinemas at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a loud stereo on Revere Beach Parkway at 1:11 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of threats to kill at Foreign Auto Parts on Broadway at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of a breaking and entering on Malden Street at 1:43 p.m. Tuesday.

Arrests

Paul A. Zammuto, 43, of 107 Edgemere Road, Lynn, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle with a revoked license and warrant charges.

Michael S. Dwyer, 51, of 23 Jackson St. Apt. 1R, was arrested and charged with second offense of operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle crash at Lincoln and Palmer avenues at 2:43 p.m. Tuesday; at Walgreens on Broadway at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday.

Complaints

A caller reported a possibly rabid raccoon walking in circles on Walden Pond Avenue at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. When police arrived, the animal was dead. It was removed from the roadway.

A report of a man in army fatigues laying down on the sidewalk on Route 1 near the Army Barracks at 1:04 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a few youths swimming in the reservoir at 2:57 p.m. Tuesday.

A janitor at the YMCA on Main Street reported someone was trying to gain access to the building at 9:28 p.m. Tuesday. The man reportedly left something in a locker and threatened to destroy the janitor’s vehicle.

A report of an intoxicated male at the bus stop in front of Cliftondale Liquors blocking the bus at 10:32 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of dogs barking on Hamilton Street for more than half an hour at 1:04 a.m. Wednesday.

Theft
