Arrests

Calvin Ebieshuwa, 25, of 36 Flint St., was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, two counts of possession of a large capacity, weapon feeding firearm, carrying a loaded firearm weapon, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct at 11:11 p.m. Monday.

Alicia Evans, 27, of 1 Fosdick Ter., was arrested on warrant charges of possession of a class B drug, possession of a class E drug, carrying a dangerous weapon, and two other default warrant charges at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday.

Renee Gubitosi, 43, was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a disabled person or person 60 years and older at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

James Henley, 37, of 185 North Common St., was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 6:35 p.m. Monday.

Caitlin Hook, 30, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Jani Kanani, 42, of 18 Maple St., Salem, was arrested and charged with trespassing at 7:33 p.m. Tuesday.

Edward Narvaez, 21, of 27 Blaney St., Swampscott, was arrested on a courtesy booking at 3:04 a.m. Tuesday.

Peter Picone was arrested on warrant charges of two counts of nighttime breaking and entering for a felony at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday.

Charles Smith, 39, of 25 Great Woods Road, was arrested on warrant charges of shoplifting by asportation, two counts of a miscellaneous municipal ordinance, possession of a class E drug, carrying a dangerous weapon, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, no inspection sticker, and a separate default warrant at 8:11 p.m. Monday.

MARBLEHEAD

Complaints

A report of two suspicious males sitting on a bench at Creesy and Elm streets at 11:43 a.m. Monday.

A caller reported from a doctor’s office that he could hear a child screaming at Widger and Cornell roads at 4:34 p.m. Monday.

A caller, near Brackett Place, reported that someone called her claiming to be from AT&T stating they needed her Social Security number at 6:05 p.m. Monday. She gave the caller her SSN and they said they would call back in 30 minutes but when they didn’t she realized it was a scam. Responding officers advised her to watch her credit and make sure no one is using her identification.

Two callers reported a black sports car speeding around the Neck making laps around it on Ocean Avenue. A witness described the vehicle to be a black Mercedes very low to the ground and operated by a female at 7:11 p.m. Monday.

A caller reported a neighbor blasting music at Green Street and Tioga Way at 9:55 p.m. Monday.

A caller reported a loud party on Russell Street at the corner of Cowel Street at 11:03 p.m. Monday. Responding officers found the music to be coming from Crocker Park.

A report of a suspicious man at 12:38 p.m. Tuesday on West Shore Drive. A caller reported a man was watching children play ball at the park; at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday on Ocean Avenue. A caller reported a man who seemed to be in a bad mood, flailing his arms and then meeting with several people on the beach. The caller then reportedly saw the man “struggling” with four dogs trying to cross the Causeway.

Theft

A report of a boat being stolen on Lincoln Avenue at 7:15 p.m. Monday. It was later found and the owner confirmed it was his.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday on Wyman Road. A Parks and Recreation employee reported a statue was vandalized on the Seaside Park trail.

NAHANT

Arrests

Peterson Joseph, 22, of 11 Hood St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with speeding and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license at 9:50 p.m. Saturday.

Julio Ramirez, 36, of 180 Hamilton Ave., Lynn, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with revocation of a license and a motor vehicle lights violation at 7:36 a.m. Monday.

Accidents

A report of a minor motor vehicle crash at 1:12 a.m. Tuesday.

Complaints

A caller reported several people in the parking lot at Knights of Columbus, 17 Relay Yard, who were screaming for more than 20 minutes. Responding officers found the lot to be clear with the exception of a bride and groom walking to their car at 11:56 p.m. Saturday.

A caller reported she was punched in the face with the suspect still on scene at DCR Long Beach Lot on the Causeway at 4:21 p.m. Sunday. Officers advised her to get into her car and lock the doors.

PEABODY

Accidents

A report of a motorcycle crash at 10:49 p.m. Saturday at Exit 44 on Route 128 South. State Police on scene and escorted driver up the street.

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 1:05 p.m. Sunday at Treadwell’s Ice Cream at 46 Marginal St., no injuries.

Complaints

A report of someone trying to get into Apt. 1F at 17 Tracey St. at 4:27 a.m. on Sunday. Caller reported someone has been trying the handle of his apartment door. Police checked the area and did not find anyone.

A well-being check was performed on Sunday at 4:44 a.m. at 6 Fairview Road. Caller asked that police check on her kids’ report that their father may be doing drugs. No drugs were used, and the kids were fine, caller reported. Officer will document.

A report of vandalism on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the Marriott Hotel at 8a Centennial Drive. Caller reported her driver’s side door was keyed by an unknown person.

A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 124 Newbury St. on Sunday at 9:37 p.m. Caller reported person might be living in the car in the parking lot. Party taken to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.

A walk-in reported his credit cards were stolen at Latitude’s Sports Club at 194 Newbury St. on Sunday at 10:54 a.m. Officer documented.

A report of a disturbance at the Lahey Medical Center at One Essex Center Drive on Sunday at 11:29 a.m. in the emergency room. Party was calmed down and hospital will handle the matter.

An employee of the DownRiver Ice Cream reported he witnessed a drug transaction in the parking lot on Sunday at 11:54 a.m. Caller provided license plate number to police and said the vehicle took a right on Andover Street. Officer will document the incident.

Caller reported he found a backpack at the Temple Israel Cemetery at 490 Lowell St. at 12:11 p.m. on Sunday. Officer attempted to return it but residents at the address said it did not belong to them. Items appeared very old, moldy and falling apart. Item was discarded at city garage.

Report of an unwanted person on Sunday at 2:47 p.m. at Walgreens at 229 Andover St. Caller reports being involved in a dispute with an employee. Police report party is not allowed in the store for a year.

Felipe E. Araya, 33, of 73 O’Callaghan Way, Apt. 1, Lynn, was arrested and charged with uninsured motor vehicle, OUI liquor second offense, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage and uninsured motor vehicle at 7:48 p.m. Monday.

Alfonso G. Balarezo, 45, of 4 Ivy Ter., Prospect, Conn., was arrested and charged with larceny at 3:20 p.m. Monday.

Charles J. Dalton, 55, homeless, was arrested on warrant charges at 11:26 a.m. Monday.

Jason B. Eisnor, 33, of 418 Revere Beach Pkwy Apt. 119, was arrested on warrant charges at 2:42 a.m. Tuesday.

Douglas E. Fey, 37, of 4121 Washington St., Roslindale, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation, and fugitive from justice on a court warrant at 3:17 p.m. Monday.

Eric S. Mahoney, 41, of 418 Revere Beach Pkwy. Apt. 102, was arrested on warrant charges at 5:45 p.m. Monday.

Michael J. Parker, 54, of 150 Sagamore Ave., Chelsea, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 7:11 p.m. Monday.
