Complaints
A caller reported he lost his American Express credit card on June 6 and his wife called a number that she found on the internet to report it, but the number was not identical to the number on the back of the card. The scam number told his wife to purchase $2,600 worth of gift cards at a 7-11 convenience store, which she did, and then she called the number back and gave them the gift card information. Afterwards, when she realized it was a scam, she called the number back to get a reimbursement and they told her to send over $1,500 in order to do so at 10:36 a.m. on Tuesday.
A caller reported someone shot what appeared to be a pellet gun into his backyard at Atlantic Avenue at 4:56 p.m. on Tuesday. Responding officers spoke with both parties and resolved the complaint.
A caller reported a dispute between him and a neighbor over a cut down tree that left damage to the caller’s property at Birch Street at 5:54 p.m. on Tuesday. Responding officers worked with both parties to resolve the issue.
A caller reported damage to his car door after having a dispute with someone he knew at Broughton Road at 10:04 p.m. on Tuesday.
Theft
A caller reported a theft from earlier in the day of one pair of shoes worth $50 and the store caught it on camera at Washington Street at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday. The caller knew the suspect and was able to gave responding officers a detailed description.

Arrest
Ty Lee Arbegast, 28, homeless, was arrested and charged on Monday at 11:11 p.m. for breaking and entering in the nighttime, burglary, and assault.

One operator was cited for operating to endanger and a red light violation; A hit and run accident was reported on Monday at 6:24 p.m. at Macy’s at 210 Andover St.; A report of a motor vehicle crash was reported on Tuesday at the Sports Medicine North at 1 Orthopedic Drive at 8:03 a.m. Caller said she struck a parked car in the lot; A motor vehicle crash was reported on Tuesday at 8:31 a.m. at 69 Northend St.; A motor vehicle crash was reported at 2 Cross St. and 174 Andover St. on Tuesday at 4:17 p.m.; at 7 Summit St. and 33 Centennial Drive on Tuesday at 5:36 p.m.; at 128 Lowell St. on Tuesday at 9:46 p.m. Witness said two people on a motorcycle may have crashed into a wall. Officer checked the area, but found nothing.
Overdose
An unconscious overdose victim was reported on Monday at 5:47 p.m. at 10 Hoover Ave. and taken to Salem Hospital.

Police confirmed it was a pellet gun and advised man to put it away and sent him on his way; A report of vandalism on Tuesday at 4:52 p.m. at the Nordstrom at 210 Andover St. Mall security reported juveniles did some minor damage in the bathroom. Officer brought the kids to the Outreach Center where they were picked up by their parents.
