Complaints
A caller reported a male knocking on her door and walking up and down her driveway who walked off when the resident asked what he wanted on West Shore Drive at 4:06 p.m. on Wednesday.
A caller reported a boat adrift in Marblehead Harbor but when responders reached the boat they found a very drunk 21-year-old passed out. Responders brought the boat back to shore and called his mother and co-owner of the boat. The 21-year-old was taken into protective custody at 8:33 p.m. on Wednesday.
Theft
A report of North Shore harbors complaining about their GPS memory chips being stolen in Marblehead Harbor at 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday. The harbormaster wanted to advise boaters to secure their belongings at night.
PEABODY
Arrest
Philip Viola, 51, of 251 Loring Ave., Apt. 1, Salem, was arrested and charged with operating an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle, attaching plates, and no inspection sticker.

Caller reported fireworks or gunshots at 261 Newbury St., Apt. 109 on Tuesday at 10:34 p.m. Police checked the area but could not find either.
Well-being check at the McDonalds at 133 Main St. on Wednesday at 1:03 a.m. Police checked on a man in a car and found he was having car trouble. Officer gave him a courtesy ride to Washington Street in Peabody.
