Officer reported a group of motor vehicles in the parking lot at Bob’s Stores at 1020 Broadway on Wednesday at 2:22 a.m. Second officer sent to assist. Cars were sent on their way.
Patrolman reported a car parked at Walnut Place and 190 Broadway on Wednesday at 2:27 a.m. Second officer sent to assist. Motorist reported he was tired from driving and was just resting.
A report of suspicious activity near 26 Pleasant St. was reported on Wednesday at 7:34 a.m. Caller said a suspicious white man described as 6-feet tall, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, baseball hat and sunglass, carrying an empty blue bag and two different colored shoes. Caller said man keeps walking past 26 Pleasant St. and circling back. Officer dispatched but could not find anyone fitting that description.
On Wednesday at 2:13 p.m. caller reported an ongoing issue of teens smoking in the parking lot at Stonehill Corporate Center at 999 Broadway and refused to leave. Caller reported the vehicle left while on the phone with police.
Caller reported a white man under her porch at 226 Essex St. on Wednesday at 6:24 p.m. who said he was hiding from police and then fled on foot. He is described as 5-foot-seven-inches, 30-years-old, wearing a blue shirt and shorts. Officers dispatched but could not find anyone fitting that description.
On Wednesday at 7:30 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle at Interstate Properties at 999 Broadway has been onsite for four months. Officer dispatched, and told property manager they can how car towed.
Caller reported debris from 25 Hesper St. is blowing onto his property and home on Thursday at 9:47 a.m. He reported contractor is cutting patio blocks without water, causing dust. He requested building inspector respond to investigate. Dispatch notified Inspectional Services Department.
On Thursday at 7:48 p.m., caller reported the sound of BB guns in the woods of a neighbor’s home at 66 Vine St. Officers dispatched and told man to stop shooting the gun in his yard.
