Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident with possible injuries at 175 Lynn St. at 3:46 p.m. on Sunday.

Breaking and Entering

A caller reported witnessing a breaking and entering of his motor vehicle and stealing a checkbook from the middle console but when responding officers arrived the suspect fled the scene until the officers caught him at 16 Livingston Drive at 12:20 a.m. on Monday.

Complaints

A caller reported young kids riding dirt bikes through the parking lot at Elks Lodge, 40 Oak St., but officers were unable to locate them at 3:04 p.m. on Sunday.

A report led officers to respond to an illegal apartment, with the fire deputy and health inspector being notified afterwards, near 40 Endicott St. at 4:09 p.m. on Sunday.

A caller reported that on Saturday night, an unknown male got into his daughter’s car while in the drive thru and demanded that the girl bring him home, but officers spoke with both parties involved who stated there was no force or threat involved and the male party bought her food in exchange for a ride home to Salem at McDonald’s Restaurant, 133 Main St. Apt. 1, at 6:03 p.m. on Sunday.

A report of a male party entering Not Your Average Joe’s restaurant who was swearing at customers and continued to run through the mall with mall security chasing him until they got him outside where the suspect stated it was a misunderstanding at 210N Andover St. at 6:38 p.m. on Sunday.

A store employee reported finding a suspicious baggie of unknown drugs in the parking lot at Amazing Superstore, 82 Newbury St., at 11:22 a.m. on Monday.

Theft

A caller reported their son left his wallet on top of his car overnight and it was later stolen with $500 cash and a few credit cards in it at 42 Harris St. at 5:08 p.m. on Sunday.

Arrests

Edwin Galdamezlandaver, 34, of 83 Eutaw St., East Boston, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 5:02 p.m. on Saturday.

Abner Perez, 40, of 5 Hesston St., Dorchester, was arrested and charged with a second offense of operating under the influence of liquor and operating recklessly so as to endanger at 11:58 p.m. on Saturday.

Luis Oliva, 37, of 49 Bradstreet Ave., was arrested on a warrant charge at 10:29 p.m. on Sunday.

Cirillo Figuereo, 59, of 48 Essex St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle at 6:37 a.m. on Sunday.
