LYNN — Two Lynn men were arrested on drug trafficking charges after nearly $30,000 worth of heroin and fentanyl was seized from their Neptune Boulevard apartment Thursday morning.
As the result of a joint investigation, the Lynn Police Drug Task Force, Boston Police and State Police executed a search warrant at 130 Neptune Blvd. around 9 a.m. and seized 106 grams of fentanyl, 186 grams of heroin, and 4 grams of cocaine, with a combined street value of approximately $29,600, along with more than $4,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
Police were not met with any resistance at the apartment and a young child was in the residence when the warrant was executed, Kmiec said.
Jose Baez, 21, was charged with fentanyl trafficking more than 100 grams, heroin trafficking more than 100 grams and cocaine possession with intent to distribute.
Edgar Gonzalez, 28, was charged with fentanyl trafficking more than 100 grams, heroin trafficking more than 100 grams, cocaine possession with intent to distribute and reckless endangerment to a child.
