Arrests

Kevin Cumbee, of 219 Salem St., Malden, was arrested on a warrant charge of a parole violation at 5:28 p.m. on Sunday.

Orlando Paulino, 20, of 161 Broad St., was arrested on multiple charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license, moped violation, and an ordinance violation of possession of a knife with a blade at 4:34 p.m. on Sunday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at Minos Roast Beef, 244 Broadway, at 2:33 p.m. on Sunday; at South and Summer streets; at 265 Euclid Ave. at 3:26 p.m. on Sunday; at 2 Jewetts Court at 6:12 p.m. on Sunday; at 50 Western Ave. at 7:53 p.m. on Sunday; at 34 Hanover St. at 11:46 p.m. on Sunday; at Chestnut and Essex streets at 6:41 a.m. on Monday.

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle accident at 54 Elmwood Ave. at 1:13 a.m. on Monday.

A report of an assault and battery at Dunkin Donuts, 819 Western Ave., at 10:53 a.m. on Monday.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 23 Central Ave. at 6:50 a.m. on Monday.

A report of a breaking and entering at 220 Jenness St. at 9:43 a.m. on Monday.

MARBLEHEAD

Complaints

A caller reported she observed a distressed person falling from the sky attached to a parachute but responding Coast Guard officers confirmed it was just a cluster of balloons at Ocean Avenue at 10:44 a.m. on Sunday.

A caller reported two men with shovels digging in the cemetery but when officers arrived all they found was a freshly raked area at West Shore Drive at 4:04 p.m. on Sunday.

PEABODY

Arrests

Antonio Marchetti Jr., 32, of 5 Broadmoor Lane, was arrested on a department warrant charge at 5:43 p.m. on Sunday.

Theresa Ann Hartford, 40, of 3 Barry Place, was arrested on a department warrant and on multiple charges of possession of a class A drug, possession of a class B drug, and possession of a class E drug at 11:08 p.m. on Sunday.

Breaking and Entering

A report of an attempted breaking and entering at 25 Intervale Ave. at 11:16 p.m. on Sunday.

Complaints

A caller reported a suspiciously parked motor vehicle, described as a gray Ford, and when officers arrived they found a party sleeping inside of the vehicle waiting for an early appointment at Sports Medicine North, 1 Orthopedic Drive, at 10:22 p.m. on Sunday.

Vandalism

A caller from the city of Peabody reported someone dumping trash at Oak Grove Cemetery, 52A Pine St., at 7:33 a.m. on Monday.

REVERE

Arrest

Anthony Martinez, 48, of 418 Revere Beach Parkway, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, strangulation or suffocation, witness intimidation, and trespassing at 10:49 a.m. on Saturday.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident with property damage only at Malden Street and Asti Avenue at 1:25 a.m. on Sunday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident on Bradstreet Avenue at 2:56 a.m. on Sunday.

A report of a hit and run motor vehicle accident with property damage only at Ray’s Sunoco Service, Broadway, at 1:53 p.m. on Sunday.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a burglary breaking and entering on Suffolk Avenue at 5:03 a.m. on Monday.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at Hichborn Street and Franklin Avenue at 4:37 a.m. on Sunday; at Prospect House, Reservoir Avenue, at 8:19 p.m. on Sunday; on Washington Avenue at 8:55 p.m. on Sunday; at 194 Shirley Ave. at 10:29 p.m. on Sunday; at Lincoln School, Tuckerman Street, at 12:38 a.m. on Monday; at Ray’s Sunoco Service, Broadway, at 1:52 a.m. on Monday.

Overdose

A report of a possible overdose at McDonald’s Restaurant, Squire Road, at 7:06 p.m. on Saturday.

SAUGUS

Arrests

Jason Ricci, 40, of 64 Saville St., was arrested on warrant charges of destruction of property under $250 and malicious threat to commit crime at 10:27 a.m. on Saturday.

Ryan Libby, 28, of 37 North St., Middleborough, was arrested and charged with shoplifting worth $100 by asportation, failure to stop for police, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle at 7:51 p.m. on Saturday.

Accidents

Multiple reports of a two-car motor vehicle accident with property damage and one transport to Melrose Wakefield Hospital at 94 Lincoln Ave. at 9:55 a.m. on Sunday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident with non-fatal injuries at 81 Walnut St. at 5:39 p.m. on Sunday.

Theft

A report of shoplifting over $1,000 worth of merchandise at Sunglass Hut, 1201 Broadway, at 2:25 p.m. on Sunday.

Arrest

Paul Whitten, 46, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor at 8:42 p.m. on Sunday.
