The St. Mary’s boys lacrosse team dropped a tough Catholic Central League matchup Wednesday afternoon at Archbishop Williams, falling 13-5.
With the loss, the Spartans fell to 4-4 on the season.
Davis Kinne scored one goal and dished one assist, Nick Napolitano scored two goals, Brendan Laundry scored a goal with one assist and Jaiden Moriello dished one assist.
Spartans netiminder Kaden Quirk made 11 saves.
“We’ve played a lot of lacrosse in a few days,” St. Mary’s coach Josh Field said. “This was our fifth game in seven days. I’m not taking anything away from Williams, they played a good game. Our kids just ran out of gas. We never really got off the bus.”
The Spartans will aim to bounce back with a win Monday when they host Arlington Catholic at Manning Field.
“We’ve had a couple tough road games,” Field said. “All the travel kind of caught up to us. We’ll get back to it. We’ll watch some film on Thursday, practice Friday and Saturday and then a big CCL matchup for us Monday.”
