LYNN — Girls Incorporated hosts its 16th annual SMART girls summit on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in its big yellow building at 50 High St.
During the summit more than 125 girls from four middle schools in greater Lynn will learn about the wide range of career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
Along with several workshops covering topics including coding, hydraulics, engineering, chemistry, forensics, environmental health/sustainability, marine science, and astronomy, there will be a special presentation by Curious Creatures illuminating how STEM is involved in working with and caring for animals.
