LYNN — Boston Celtics standouts Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are coming to the Breed Middle School on Monday.
The two forward will show the kids the first-of-its kind “Brilliant Career Play” mobile (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) STEM laboratory. Brown and Tatum will join Celtics mascot “Lucky” the Leprechaun, GE Foundation executive director, education and skills Kelli Wells and Lynn public schools Superintendent Dr. Catherine C. Latham on the campus of Breed Middle School from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as they explore the lab’s gadgets and participate in STEM-related activities with the students.
The event will then transition to the gymnasium, where they will discuss the importance of students developing a knowledge of STEM resources for both their educational and professional development. Lucky will cap off the event with an exclamation mark, treating students to one of his spectacular high-flying dunk shows.
