Complaints
A report of a woman flagging down cars at 2:27 p.m. Friday on Jersey Street. Multiple callers reported a woman “jumping in and out of traffic” in the area, possibly looking for a ride to Dunkin’ Donuts. Police spoke to the woman and advised her not to do that. She said she understood.
A report of suspicious activity at 10:03 a.m. Saturday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported there was a man on the sidewalk in the front of the library holding a sign about Donald Trump. Police told her they knew about the man and that he has a right to be there and hold a sign; at 12 a.m. Sunday on Lee Street. A caller reported a small red SUV made several circles around his house and that a man wearing a dark hoodie proceeded to get out of the car and run into a residence nearby. Police reported the man ran into a neighbor’s house from the pouring rain and that the listed vehicle is in the driveway of the house the person ran to.
A report of a disturbance at 12:55 a.m. Sunday on Washington Street. A caller reported a yelling match between a man and a woman. The woman was reportedly yelling about an Uber ride and left with a sober driver; at 2:20 a.m. Sunday on Creesy Street; at 6:18 a.m. Sunday on Pleasant Street.

A report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injury at 1:08 a.m. Sunday at 159 Main St. A rollover car accident was reported. The driver of the car that rolled over was taken to Salem Hospital.
Assaults
A report of an assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 10:39 p.m. Saturday on Keys Drive. A woman reportedly got hit in the head with a bat. The woman stated it was a drug deal gone bad. The victim was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and the suspects fled into Saugus in a 2003 gray Honda Accord. Brianna A. Lovasco, 26, of 1 Newhall Place, Apt. 2, was summoned for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 4:15 p.m. Friday at The Finishing Touch Nail & Spa at 139 Lynnfield St. Police reported there was no forced entry and nothing was taken; at 6:44 p.m. Friday at BMW of Peabody at 221 Andover St. A caller reported theft from his vehicle while it was being serviced.

Theft
A report of a larceny at 10:21 a.m. Saturday at 4112 Crane Brook Way. A theft of a necklace was reported. An officer reported maintenance came into the house to fix a water pressure problem, but did not properly secure the door. When the residents came home, the caller’s husband’s necklace was gone.
