Arrests

Christopher Bonilla, of 25 Ward St., Salem, was arrested on warrant charges.

Edward Comendul, 46, of  69 North Common St., was arrested and charged with attempting to burn a building, and disrupting court proceedings.

Christian Garcia-Vargas, 29, of 1 Olive St., was arrested and charged with operating with a revoked license, disorderly conduct, failure to obey a signal, failure to stop for police, and trespassing.

Hector Nieves, 30, of 66 Harwood St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm without an F.I.D. card, unlawful or improper storage of a firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition without F.I.D. card.

Jonathan Sisson, of 187 Washington St., was arrested on warrant charges of distributing a Class B drug, distributing a Class A drug, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.

Arrest

Michael C. Marciano, 46, of 126 Lowell St., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

A caller reported a car dealership employee shut a door and hit him with it on Newbury Street at 3:40 p.m. Monday.

A report of suspicious activity on Andover Street at 6:08 p.m. Monday. An officer was reportedly assisting security with a possible organized crime ring.

A report of an intoxicated person on Lowell Street at 6:56 p.m. Monday.

A report of an erratic operator on 114 heading into Peabody at 7:36 p.m. Monday.

A report of a fight in the parking lot of The Jade on Bourbon Street at 9:57 p.m. Monday. One person was summoned for malicious destruction of property.

A customer reportedly refused to pay his taxi driver on Newbury Street at 10:35 p.m. Monday.

A report of a fight on a school bus from the West School at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday.

REVERE

Arrests

Rasean Keith Sorrell, Jr., 24, of 15 Endicott Ave., was arrested and charged with operating recklessly so as to endanger, disorderly conduct, and state highway red light violation.

Oscar V. Zavala-Enamorado, 20, of 69 Winthrop Ave. Apt. 1, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle after license or right to operate was suspended, unregistered motor vehicle, attaching false plates to a motor vehicle, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at Broadway Towers at 7:56 a.m. Monday; at Pines River Fish Market at 12:48 p.m. Monday; on Beach Street at 2:36 p.m. Monday; at Top Cab at 2:47 p.m. Monday; at Mahoney Circle at 3:36 p.m. Monday.

Overdose

A report of a possible overdose at Carl Hyman Towers on Walnut Avenue at 4:52 p.m. Monday.

Theft

A report of shoplifting at Burlington Coat Factory on Squire Road at 3:26 p.m. Monday.

SAUGUS

Arrest

Oscar Rafael Herrera, of 34 Broad St. Apt. 25, Lynn, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250.

Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 107 Bridge St. at 1:31 a.m. Monday.

Complaints

An Elm Street resident reported a suspicious green motor vehicle had been parked in front of her home for 45 minutes at 12:19 a.m. Monday. Police report the driver and one occupant said they were waiting for a friend who lives in the area. Police sent the two men on their way.

A report of multiple unregistered vehicles parked at 3 Alfred Rd. at 1:50 p.m. Monday.

An Austin Court resident reported a suspicious tall male wearing a grey coat, orange lanyard, and carrying a clipboard, going door to door claiming to be from National Grid at 1:53 p.m. Monday.

A McDonald’s restaurant employee reported three male youths smoked pot inside the building, then stole a display case of cookies at the 127 Broadway restaurant at 9:50 p.m. Monday. The youths reportedly left in a gray vehicle. A patron entering McDonalds was also reportedly hit with the door as they were exiting the establishment, but refused medical treatment.

A report of possible drug use in the restroom at Kelly’s Roast Beef at 10:59 p.m. Monday. A manager reported a possible overdose in the bathroom, but a male exited and got into a blue pickup truck and drove away. No drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.

A Pilings Road resident reported she believes she heard three loud gun shots in the area of Pranker Pond at 3:19 a.m. Monday. Police conducted a search of the area and report the incident was unfounded.

A report of a suspicious white vehicle parked outside Eastern Bank for three days at 7:34 a.m. Tuesday. Police report the vehicle belongs to a client of the bank.

Theft

A report of a male stealing an iPhone 8 Plus and an iPhone 10 from AT&T on Broadway at 11:17 a.m. Monday.

A report of identity theft at T-Mobile on Broadway at 1:19 p.m. Monday.

A report of checks stolen from Citizens Bank on Main Street at 3:17 p.m. Monday.

A report of shoplifting at Macy’s Department Store at 5:08 p.m. Monday.

SWAMPSCOTT

Arrests

Lurina Rivera, 32, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing, and possession of a Class E drug.

Daniel Shanahan, 36, was arrested and charged with failure to stop or yield, driving with a suspended license, and warrant charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and second offense of operating under the influence.

A report of suspicious activity on Humphrey Street at 3:36 p.m. Monday.
