An Elm Street resident reported a suspicious green motor vehicle had been parked in front of her home for 45 minutes at 12:19 a.m. Monday. Police report the driver and one occupant said they were waiting for a friend who lives in the area. Police sent the two men on their way.
A report of multiple unregistered vehicles parked at 3 Alfred Rd. at 1:50 p.m. Monday.
An Austin Court resident reported a suspicious tall male wearing a grey coat, orange lanyard, and carrying a clipboard, going door to door claiming to be from National Grid at 1:53 p.m. Monday.
A McDonald’s restaurant employee reported three male youths smoked pot inside the building, then stole a display case of cookies at the 127 Broadway restaurant at 9:50 p.m. Monday. The youths reportedly left in a gray vehicle. A patron entering McDonalds was also reportedly hit with the door as they were exiting the establishment, but refused medical treatment.
A report of possible drug use in the restroom at Kelly’s Roast Beef at 10:59 p.m. Monday. A manager reported a possible overdose in the bathroom, but a male exited and got into a blue pickup truck and drove away. No drug paraphernalia was found at the scene.
A Pilings Road resident reported she believes she heard three loud gun shots in the area of Pranker Pond at 3:19 a.m. Monday. Police conducted a search of the area and report the incident was unfounded.
A report of a suspicious white vehicle parked outside Eastern Bank for three days at 7:34 a.m. Tuesday. Police report the vehicle belongs to a client of the bank.
