A report of suspicious activity at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday on Jersey Street. A caller reported seeing a woman in a T-shirt flagging down cars. The woman reportedly asked if she could borrow a pan for roasting a turkey; at 12:40 a.m. Thursday on Gerald Road. A caller reported he thought he heard someone downstairs. He said he went to look and saw someone outside trying to smash in the front door. Police reported nothing seemed amiss and there was no one in the area.

A report of an attempted breaking and entering at 11:17 p.m. Tuesday at 40 Grandview Ave. A caller reported he thought someone was attempting to break into the house. He said he had been hearing banging on the house for the past hour and there were footprints in the fresh snow that do not belong to him. Police reported performing a search around the residence and found some footprints going into the back yard, but were unable to find anything.
