LYNN — A Chatham Street convenience store was robbed Tuesday night for the fourth time in the past three months.
Police responded to Sunrise Market, at 353 Chatham St., shortly after 8 p.m. and learned that a man wearing a black ski mask came into the store, pointed a handgun at the 46-year-old male clerk and demanded money, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
The suspect took a small amount of cash from the register and fled, Kmiec said.
The incident is under investigation.
The store was robbed at knifepoint by a masked man on Dec. 15 and twice in October by a man with a bandana covering his face.
Kmiec said the description of Tuesday night’s suspect doesn’t match what police have for a description on the previous robberies.
