Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported he saw a man exit a car and urinate outside the car. He then reportedly went back into the car and put the seat back as if to rest. The caller reported the man appeared to be unsteady on his feet.
An irate caller called police to yell about his displeasure about receiving a parking ticket while “running inside House of Pizza” to get his dinner at 6:49 p.m. Tuesday on Atlantic Avenue. He was “wondering why our officers are outside waiting to give people parking tickets.” When he was told that dispatch didn’t have any idea about this ticket situation, he said “of course you didn’t” and went on to say that “House of Pizza were taken and they are the only place open right now, yet all of the spots in front are filled.” He said he “parked barely in front of a fire hydrant,” went out and got his pizza and came back three minutes later and the cop had written him a ticket and drove off. He was told about the appeals process, but didn’t want to hear about that.

A report of an outside deck fire at 9:18 a.m. Tuesday at Peach Highlands. The homeowner reported her outside deck underneath was on fire. Police reported the small outside fire was contained to the deck.
