A report of a motor vehicle illegally parked at 1:35 p.m. Friday on Washington Street. A caller complained about a car parked out front that had been there all day. The car already has a ticket on it and she wanted to know what police were going to do about it. Police told her that they already did something about it — they tagged it. She asked if police notify people after tickets and ask them to move. Police told her that they do not contact people to move after they have received a ticket.
A caller reported a car was speeding and almost took out kids by Broughton Road at 7:55 p.m. Friday. The car was stopped on Harbor Avenue and the driver was issued a citation.
A caller reported a pickup truck with loud music playing and a loud exhaust was disturbing her peace at 12:52 a.m. Saturday on Seaview Avenue.
A caller reported her gift bag was taken from her backyard at 9:40 a.m. Saturday on Glendale Road. The caller said that her friend didn’t want to leave the bag on the front porch to prevent it from being taken.
A report of a disturbance at 5:28 p.m. Saturday at Village and Pleasant streets. A caller reported that she was having a dispute with a man over money and that he put his hands on her.
