Arrests

Mater Almishalawi, 52, of 167 N Common St., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and on a warrant at 8:56 p.m. Monday.

Walin Arias, 37, of 16 Lander St., was arrested and charged with three counts of Class A drug distribution, Class A drug trafficking more than 36 grams and cocaine trafficking more than 18 grams at 6:23 a.m. Tuesday.

Thiago Carvalho, of 27 Everett St., Woburn, was arrested on warrant charges of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor, trespassing and malicious wanton property defacement at 2:43 p.m. Monday.

Jonathan Fisher, of 9 Winston St., Saugus, was arrested on warrant charges of nighttime breaking and entering for a felony, destruction of property and larceny at 3:27 p.m. Monday.

Jhonny Gonzalez, 32, of 16 Lander St., was arrested and charged with Class A drug trafficking more than 36 grams, Class A drug trafficking more than 200 grams, cocaine trafficking more than 18 grams, Class B drug trafficking more than 36 grams, Class A drug distribution, conspiracy to violate the drug law, disguise to obstruct justice and on warrants at 6:27 a.m. Tuesday.

Vincent Johns, 27, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and assault and battery on a person 60 or older/disabled at 10:31 p.m. Monday.

James Kallogher, 30, of 14 Fernwood Ave., was arrested on warrant charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and larceny at 3:50 p.m. Monday.

Shawn McDormand, 45, of 500 Essex St., was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon at 10:37 p.m. Monday.

Oc Payne, 31, of 95 Woodman St., was arrested and charged with 14 counts of attempt to commit crime, trespassing/park rule, disorderly conduct and receiving stolen property at 5:46 a.m. Tuesday.

Robert Ross was arrested on a warrant charge of larceny at 2:14 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run accident at 5:03 p.m. Monday on Pleasant Street.

Complaints

A caller reported seeing something under the water that looks like a body while down at the wharf art 3:42 p.m. Monday on Front Street. The caller reported it was bigger than a seal and that they could see a rib cage, pelvic area and the spinal column. Police took the body out of the water and reported it appeared to be a seal but contacted the aquarium to verify. The aquarium looked at the photos and reported it was not an ocean-mammal creature. The medical examiner’s office was called and said that it was a white-tailed deer skeleton.

Theft

A caller reported Christmas decorations were stolen from the back of the residence at 4:31 p.m. Monday on Evans Road.

Theft

A report of an attempted burglary at 6:29 p.m. Sunday at Four Your Convenience at 150 Main St. An attempted robbery was reported. A masked man reportedly fled on foot behind the convenience store.

A report of a robbery at 7:37 p.m. Sunday at D&R Market at 54 Foster St. An armed robbery with a knife was reported. A masked man reportedly got money out of the register and fled the store.

A report of a larceny at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at 7 Judith Road. A caller reported stolen earrings; at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday at 14 Roycroft Road. A caller reported a stolen package from the front of the house. Police reported the package was a custom guitar amp worth $663.

Hector David Castro-Moradel, 55, of 48 Allston St., was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license, state highway/following too close, giving a false name to a police officer and arrestee furnishing a false name/social security number at 8:58 p.m. Monday.

Courtney Donahue, 31, of 20 Road B, Everett, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 10:21 a.m. Monday.

Joao Fernandes, 25, of 19 Greenville St., Roxbury, was arrested on a warrant at 2:07 a.m. Monday.

Fawnsa E. Rosario, 34, of 20 Road B, Everett, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 10:21 a.m. Monday.
