Complaints
A caller reported at 11:46 a.m. Tuesday she received a call from a woman at a Rowland Street residence that her boyfriend was there stealing his snowboards. He said the man has a history of doing so and is known to Marblehead Police. The suspect told police that he had borrowed the snowboards and would return them.
A caller reported finding a crosswalk sign at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday on Elm Street. The caller said she found the sign last week leaning up against a pole on Elm Street and that it was in poor condition. She said she is an artist and wanted to do something with it. She was told to call the DPW director to get his approval and let him know where the sign came from so it can be replaced.
A report of a hanging sign at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported the “W’ from the “Wick Pizza” sign was hanging precariously from the building and was afraid that it would fall on a child. Police notified someone from Wick’s who would take care of the sign.
A report of a suspicious case at 7:11 a.m. Wednesday on Front Street. A caller reported there was a black case under a bench in the area and found it suspicious. An officer took the briefcase to the station.
