A caller reported she was walking up at the track and in the smaller former ticket booth and snack shed, there were a couple of kids smoking pot at 12:11 p.m. Saturday on Village Street.
A report of unwanted shoveling at 6:06 a.m. Sunday on Tufts Street. A caller reported he was startled by a man trying to shovel off his steps without being asked. The man was reportedly wearing a dark ball cap and carrying a shovel. Police reported there was no one in the area.

Breaking and Entering
A report of a breaking and entering at 9:10 p.m. Friday at ES Systems at 147 Summit St. A caller reported his business was broken into. Police reported the items were returned to their proper owners; at 9:51 p.m. Friday at 5231 Avalon Drive. A caller at a restaurant reported there was an unknown person in her apartment — she said she was receiving multiple alerts to her phone from the security camera she had set up in her home. The woman called police upon returning home. Officers walked through the residence with the caller and reported the concerns were unfounded.

A report of threats at 5:47 p.m. Friday at Main Street Laundry at 122 Main St. A caller reported a homeless man had threatened to shoot her in the head after a dispute over some trash items. No weapon was reportedly displayed. Police reported the laundromat staff does not want the man to return.
A report of a disturbance at 12:52 a.m. Saturday at 1428 Crane Brook Way; at 8:47 p.m. Saturday at 68 Driscoll St.; at 1:32 a.m. Sunday at 8 Basford Court; at 10:54 a.m. Sunday at Treadwell’s Ice Cream Stand at 46 Margin St.; at 3:58 p.m. Sunday at 6A Sewall St. A person was reportedly trying to gain entry to the residence. Police reported the person went to the wrong address.
A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 1:43 a.m. Sunday at 32 Keys Drive. A caller reported someone had been sleeping in a car in the parking lot for the past four to five nights. An officer spoke with the woman who said that she was tired from shopping and pulled into the lot to take a nap. She was told not to do it again.
Fire
A report of a structure fire at 7:15 p.m. Saturday on Bay State Boulevard. A caller reported a possible structure fire towards the back of the house. The fire department reported the blaze was a small fire pit in the backyard.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 8:36 p.m. Friday at Peabody Shell at 85 Lynnfield St. A caller reported a man had run in and stolen cash that another customer had put on the counter to pay for items. An officer reported the man had taken $20 from the counter and run off. The man returned shortly after in different clothing and was chased out of the store by the clerk; at 9:21 p.m. Friday at Cell Phone Repair at 210C Andover St. A caller reported a customer had taken a phone and had run off.
Vandalism
A report of vandalism at 9:52 p.m. Saturday at 52 Tumelty Road. A caller reported someone had severed the power cords to his Christmas lights. Police reported the cord to an inflatable snowman was cut.
