Accidents

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday on Woodfin Terrace.

Two kids were hit by a truck at 3:35 p.m. Tuesday at Pleasant and Bessom streets. A woman reported her children were struck by a pickup truck while crossing the street in the crosswalk. The children were OK, but one was taken to the hospital. The man driving the truck stopped and asked the children if they were OK prior to leaving.

Complaints

A caller reported he could hear gunshots coming from the water at 9:26 a.m. Tuesday on Neptune Road. Police told the caller that it could be duck hunters and that it was duck season. A police lieutenant reported he could see the duck hunters tied up to a mooring.

A caller reported someone had “smeared dog poop all over” her car. She said she cleaned it up and “hoped it was just some teens who were playing a prank.” The car was parked at Roundhouse Road when it occurred.

A caller reported someone was possibly grabbing packages off the front steps of houses.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday at 7-Eleven at 79 Lowell St. Staff reported a possibly intoxicated man passed out in a parked pickup truck for more than an hour. Police reported the man had fallen asleep while listening to music after purchasing some food.

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday at 4 Janet Lane.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 6:37 a.m. Wednesday at BMW of Peabody on Centennial Drive. An employee reported wheels were stolen from a vehicle. Police reported $6,000 worth of tires were stolen the previous night.

Gloria S. Pagan, 38, of 90 Marlboro St., Chelsea, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Jonathan V. Matias, 22, of 32 Arcadia St., was arrested on a warrant at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday.

Thabo N. Motlalekgosi, 21, of 291 Revere St., Apt. 4, was arrested on a warrant at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday.
