PEABODY — Two men have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 52-year-old man at the Century House on Sunday afternoon.
Peabody Police responded to a fight in the kitchen area of the restaurant, located at 235 Andover St., and found a man with a stab wound to his abdominal area.
Police rendered emergency aid and the victim was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, and is reported to be in stable condition, Peabody police said.
Rogerio Silva Thomaz Dos Reis, 18, of 2 Tremont St., was arrested shortly before 3:30 p.m., and charged with assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) and assault with a  dangerous weapon.
Rogerio Teixeira, 54, of 2 Tremont St., was charged with accessory after the fact.
Police said everyone involved are employees of the restaurant. An investigation is ongoing into the relationships of the people involved and the circumstances surrounding the incident. Police said there is no danger to the public.
The two suspects will be arraigned in Peabody District Court on Monday.
Assisting in the investigation were Capt. Scott Wlasuk, Sgt. Brendan O’brien, Detective Robert Church, Officers David Bettencourt, Daniel Jenkins, Henry Breckenridge, Javier Sanchez, Andrew Long and K9 Officer Cory Salvo and his K9 dog, Caine.
