Classical hosts night of excellence

LYNN — Classical High School’s night of excellence next Monday, Nov. 20, will introduce eighth graders to the O’Callaghan Way school.

Scheduled between 6 and 8 p.m., the evening begins with guided school tours for eighth graders and their families from the school’s main foyer.

Parents can attend a 6 p.m. presentation in the school auditorium focused on prescription drug dangers. The movie, “Living in Two Worlds,” will be shown in the school library at 6 p.m. and the school presentation for eighth grade students and parents will be in the auditorium at 7 p.m. followed by a financial aid presentation in the library.

The evening is also an opportunity for eighth graders and family members to view exhibits featuring Classical academic information, art displays, athletics, Cultural Cafe, extracurricular activities, musical opportunities, apparel bearing the school logo, student-made videos and provide a chance to meet students and faculty.
