MALDEN — The Chamber of Commerce sold out its sixth annual comedy night at Mixx 360 Nightlife where laughs were mixed with generosity.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefited the nonprofit Hallmark Health, a charitable provider of health services north of Boston.
For three years, the Chamber and its members, in partnership with the Malden High Class of 1982, have raised more than $27,000 for breast care and treatment programs and Hallmark’s Comprehensive Breast Center in Stoneham.
This year’s comedic lineup included Malden natives Dave Russo and Paul Gilligan joined by Dan Chron and Robbie Printz.
The show’s guests also enjoyed dinner and dessert provided by Mixx 360 and Hoff’s Bakery with many trying out the “Hopetini” Cosmo, the drink of the night, with $1 going towards Hallmark Health.
Founded in 1891, the Malden Chamber of Commerce is one of the oldest chambers of commerce in Massachusetts. It consists of businesses, schools, organizations, and agencies focused on promoting and developing commercial and civic interests in Greater Malden.
