Swampscott salon worker accused of groping female massage client

November 2, 2017 by Gayla Cawley

SWAMPSCOTT — Indecent assault and battery charges have been filed against a Humphrey Street nail salon employee after he allegedly groped a female client during a massage.

A woman told police that the incident took place at Lee Nail Salon, located at 244 Humphrey St., on Sept. 22 — she had a nail appointment there, and while there, received an indecent massage from Tuan Le, 48, of Revere, an employee who goes by the name of David, Swampscott Police Sgt. Tim Cassidy said.

The woman told police she has received a massage from Le in the past, but on the Sept. 22 occasion, he allegedly reached underneath her bra and down the back of her pants to her buttocks. The victim told police that Le had shut the front shades to the business before starting the massage, Cassidy said.

The woman left the store and told police, who investigated the incident. Le has been summoned to Lynn District Court for three counts of indecent assault and battery, and is due in court next week. Police filed the summons last week, Cassidy said.

The Swampscott Police Detectives Unit urges anyone who feels they may be a victim of “David’s” to come forward and file a report or call police at 781-595-1111.
