Haley Bernhardt stole the show, logging a hat trick. Mackenzie Kearney added a goal and an assist, while Allison and Sarah Tribendis each added an assist.
Big Blue coach Alvi Ibanez also highlighted Emma Fogg and Maddi Tribendis, who played well defensively, as well as midfielders Molly Frauenholz and Margot Beaupre. Hannah Maercklein and Anna Marston were productive on the front line.
Swampscott (8-5-1) hosts Medford Monday.

FOOTBALL
Cardinal Spellman 30, Bishop Fenwick 20
After falling behind 7-0 in the first half, Fenwick rallied to take the lead twice in the second half before eventually falling to Spellman in a Catholic Central League showdown on the road on Saturday afternoon.
With seven minutes left in the third quarter, Fenwick finally got on the board when David Cifuentes caught a screen pass and took it 20 yards to the house. After a successful fake extra-point attempt that turned into two points, the Crusaders held an 8-7 lead. Unfortunately for Fenwick, the lead didn’t last long. After a Spellman punt pinned Fenwick at the one-yard line, the Cardinals notched a safety to go up 9-8. On the ensuing drive, Spellman scored a touchdown to go up 16-8.
Fenwick scored early in the fourth quarter but missed the two-point conversion, putting the score at 16-14 Spellman with about 10 minutes remaining in the game. Two minutes later, Fenwick quarterback Cory Bright hit George Fiskatoris for a 50-yard touchdown to retake the lead. After a missed two-pointer, the score stood at 20-16 Fenwick.
But Spellman wasn’t done, as Cardinals running back Jack Kingston punched in a two-yard touchdown to go up 23-20. Then, on the ensuing drive for Fenwick, Spellman’s Mike Spencer snatched an interception and took it 35 yards for a touchdown to put the Cardinals up by 10. Fenwick tried one more time to score, but Spencer made another huge play with a strip sack to give Spellman the ball and seal the win.
With the loss, the Crusaders now stand at 2-5 on the season.
Chelsea 50, KIPP 28
The unfortunate losing streak continued for KIPP on Saturday night, dropping to 1-6 in their inaugural season.
The game was tied at 14-14 at the half, but three turnovers in the second half spelled trouble for the Panthers, as each one resulted in a Chelsea score. KIPP quarterback Kymani Morrison had 15 carries for 155 yards and two touchdowns. Aris Luna returned a kickoff for a 70 yard touchdown, and freshman Jeffrey Barbosa scored on a 25-yard run.
“We need to limit turnovers, but it was a great effort,” KIPP coach Jim Rabbitt said. “We played our best first half of the season. We just need to protect the ball and be able to fight through adversity when the ball doesn’t bounce our way.”
