He did not have a good explanation for why he hasn’t come in or called looking for the car in the past two days. Police report they found the motor vehicle one street over from CVS. He was advised not to drive for a few hours.
A woman called to complain that she was cold at 8:04 a.m. Thursday on Lee Street. The caller said there was a fire in the unit a while back and the new heating system was not installed properly. She said she normally goes to Florida for the winter but that is no longer an option. Police report they talked to the property manager and the problem is that the thermostat is on the second floor. The woman threatened to turn on the oven for heat but was told not to do that.
A report of a grandparent scam at 11:39 a.m. Thursday on West Shore Drive. Caller reports he was told his nephew, Doug, needed $10,000 bail as he was in the car with a person who was on drugs.
A report of a man giving a woman the finger on Orne Street at 1:51 p.m. Thursday as he passed by in a car. She then found that he had pulled over a few blocks away. She asked if he knew her or if there was a reason he flipped her off. The man told her he didn’t know what she was talking about. She persisted and asked if she had cut him off and said his gesture was clearly meant for her.
