Charles D. Derochemont, 39, of 3 Superior St., Apt. 2, Lynn, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of property damage, operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license and on a warrant at 6:57 a.m. Wednesday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 6:57 a.m. Wednesday at 109 Lynn St. and 2 Winnegance Ave. A car reportedly struck a pole and left the scene. Charles D. A four-foot wide sinkhole was reported at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday on the sidewalk in the vicinity of Worcester and Berkshire roads. DPW was notified

A report of suspicious activity at 9:02 p.m. Tuesday at 36 Wilson Terrace. A caller reported a suspicious light in her front yard. An officer reported taking the drone to the police station in case anyone called for their property; at 8:36 a.m. Wednesday at Northshore Education Consortium at 83 Pine St. An employee reported that drugs may have been found with a student. The mother was reportedly on her way to meet with the child who took the wrong jacket to school — the bus driver said he saw a plastic bag with white powder. An officer was attempting to file a 51A report; at 10:11 a.m. Wednesday at Carroll School at 60 Northend St. The principal reported that a male with no shirt was holding his pants up and didn’t belong in the area. Police reported the male was listed as a missing person out of Salem and transported him. The officer would be speaking with the father.

A report of a disturbance at 3:47 a.m. Wednesday at 146 Shore Drive. A caller reported screaming coming from an apartment. Police reported the people were praying; at 10:29 a.m. Wednesday at Lahey Medical Center at 1 Essex Center Drive. Security reported a woman pushing people outside. Police reported the woman was on a Section 12 and was taken back to the hospital with no issues.

A report of gunshots at 11:27 a.m. Wednesday at 91 Endicott St. and 137 Lowell St. A caller reported hearing two gunshots from what he thought was a handgun. Police checked the area and reported the call was unfounded.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday on Foster Street. The person was taken to Salem Hospital after overdosing on pills.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday at Burke School at 127 Birch St. A caller reported her daughter’s flute was stolen.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday at 6 Murray St. A caller reported vandalism to a door and van.

Marin Marinkovic, 25, of 30 Park Ave., Apt. 18, was arrested on a warrant at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday.

Willian Troncosodelo, 28, of 22 Warren St., Apt. 17, Lynn, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise at 4:21 p.m. Tuesday.

Latesha Monique Johnson, of 47 Jacob St., Dorchester, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation, possession of a burglarious instrument and trespassing at 2:9 p.m. Tuesday.

A report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injury at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday at 428 Lincoln Ave. One person was taken to Melrose Wakefield Hospital.

A report of vandalism at 1:19 a.m. Wednesday at 11 Magnolia St. A caller reported her home was vandalized. She said her house was egged, her plants were knocked over and unknown people rang her doorbell. She said it was the second time her house was egged.
