A report of a motor vehicle accident at 1:03 p.m. Friday on Community Road. A motor vehicle vs. a tree was reported. The driver was not leaving and reportedly almost struck a number of people; at 2:46 p.m. Friday at Humphrey Street and Ralph Road.
Complaints
A report of suspicious activity at 11:53 a.m. Friday on Roosevelt Avenue. The caller wanted to speak to an officer about a letter they received, which had no return address or name. Police reported it was an anonymous letter about the family’s barking dog; at 5:02 p.m. Friday on Atlantic Avenue. A caller reported a maroon sports car without state plates was heading inbound on Atlantic Avenue and both of the occupants were wearing masks. Police reported the masked people thought it would be fun to drive around and scare people — police told them that it was not a good idea.
Police reported aggressive solicitors for driveway seal coating at 2:30 p.m. Friday on Londonderry Road.
A report of skateboarders at 3:08 p.m. Friday on Pleasant Street. A caller reported she was leaving the plaza area and there was a large group of kids gathering there, some on skateboards. She stated that one of the kids nearly ran into her — she had words with him nicely to use caution.
A caller reported at 3:16 p.m. Friday at Elm and Mugford streets that he was at the intersection and only focusing on the school bus — he said the sign pulled in and the lights turned off so he began to pass the bus. At the time, the crossing guard yelled at him and he noticed that the crossing guard was holding up his sign for cars to stop. He said he had words with the crossing guard and admitted that he was wrong. When the crossing guard told him he was going to the police station, the caller decided to go too. The crossing guard reported that the bus sign and warning lights were still on when the caller tried to pass them — he admitted yelling at the caller and was grateful that no one was injured.
A report of a car maybe illegally parked at 10:04 p.m. Friday at Jersey and Shepard streets. A caller reported there was a vehicle that he thought was possibly illegally parked, but was more concerned that there might be illegal activity involved. He said he noticed the car visiting the neighborhood had out of state plates and thought it might be the guy down the street doing something illegal. Police reported the woman driving the vehicle was there visiting a friend.
A report of a disturbance at 11:04 p.m. Friday on State Street. A caller reported drunk men leaving Maddie’s were urinating outside of her building.
A report of stolen apples at 5:33 p.m. Saturday on Broughton Road. A woman reportedly stole apples from Connors Farm and took off.
A caller reported the tenants above her were “intentionally stomping their feet” at 9:02 p.m. Saturday on Creesy Street. The caller stated that the tenants above her have three dogs, two adults and a child and “they do this all the time.”

A woman reported that while walking her daughter, a juvenile male grabbed/touched her backside and then took off. A report of suspicious activity at 4:38 p.m. Friday at 34 Harris St. A caller reported a man was standing on the sidewalk in front of her home and staring at children playing in the area. Police checked the area and spoke to some of the children, and reported that everything appeared to be in order; at 9:25 p.m. Friday at South Memorial School at 24 Maple St. Police reported being flagged down by a passerby who stated that there was a group of youths possibly conducting some drug activity at the school. Police reported the youths were gone before their arrival.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 3:32 a.m. Sunday on Parsons Street. A taxi driver reported three youths left the cab without paying. Police found the two youths who admitted running from the taxi and would be producing the fare within 24 hours to be paid back to the female cab driver; at 11:08 a.m. Sunday at 18 Krochmal Road. A caller reported returning home and finding jewelry missing. Davin Potvin, 24, was summoned for larceny.
