Breaking and Entering
A report of a breaking and entering at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday on Cornell Road. A caller reported she was at a scout meeting and when she came out, her car had been entered and items were missing, including $1,500 cash and a briefcase. The caller later reported that she found the briefcase in her other vehicle — she said the other car had been entered, but it was unknown if anything was missing.
Complaints
A report of a stolen black light at 8:51 a.m. Wednesday on Evans Road. A caller reported a black light was stolen from a Halloween decoration in his yard. The light is worth approximately $25. The caller reported the person would have had to open the gate and go into the yard. The decoration was about 15 feet from their back door.
A report of go-slow signs in the street at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday on Churchill Road. A caller reported that someone had put a bunch of “Go Slow Children” signs in the street. She stated the signs were all over the street and she had to drive around them. Police reported the signs were moved to the side of the road.
A report of a disturbance at 11:14 p.m. Wednesday on Creesy Street. A caller reported that JME was trying to tow his car and he was legally parked in a spot and has lived there for three years. The tow company reported that the plates were not active and that he had a “visitor” sticker, but was parked in a resident spot. The owner stated that he has parked in his spot and is not a visitor, as he has lived there for three years with his wife. Police told the tow owner that he could not enforce registry laws, including expired plates, and he could not tow the vehicle if the owner was there and lives there — if there is an issue, the owner can move the car to another spot.
A report of drunk kids at 12:35 a.m. Thursday on Rowland Street. A caller reported there was a group of kids near a car on the path behind Rowland Street. They were reportedly loud and drunk. The caller reported they all got into a car and left the area, possibly in the direction of the middle school. Police reported an area search was negative.

Marshall Glover Jr., 27, of 81 Boston St., Salem, was arrested and charged with two counts of wanton or reckless creating a risk of serious bodily injury or sexual abuse, shoplifting by concealing merchandise and disorderly conduct at 9:16 p.m. Wednesday.
Dale Higinbotham, 45, of 32 Broad St., was arrested on warrants at 4:19 p.m. Wednesday.
Kevin J. Karakoudas, 29, of 20 Central St., Apt. 110, was arrested on warrants at 11:16 a.m. Thursday.

Police reported the man is an employee of the job site.

She reported the fence was six feet high and between the yards, which is the allowed height. She was concerned because her neighbor was yelling at her earlier that day — the neighbor reportedly said “I curse you. Whatever happens to you, you deserve it.”
