LYNNFIELD — Police are searching for two men in connection with a home invasion on Brook Drive.
Friday afternoon, the two assailants approached a man in his driveway at 34 Brook Drive, pointed a gun at him, then tied the man up inside his house, according to Police Chief David Breen. The suspects spoke Vietnamese to the victim, who also speaks Vietnamese, the chief said.
“Once the resident’s hands were secured, they took several items of value,” said Breen. The two suspects then fled in what was described as a brown Honda.
The Brook Drive resident was not injured in the incident, Breen said.
As of 4:30 p.m., police officers were at the scene gathering more information on the home invasion. The suspects were described as Asian, and are believed to be driving a brown Honda.
“This is an ongoing investigation; we do have some leads and we are working on them,” said Breen. “This does not appear to be a random act.”
