A report of a red and white sports car, possibly a Mustang, videotaping young girls walking down the street and “cat calling” them as they walked by at 4:13 p.m. Thursday. A BOLO was issued for a bald, white male in his 40s with a medium build. He may also have been driving a white challenger with red stripes.
An Orne Street resident told police she couldn’t get the gas burner on her stove to stop sparking at 8:06 p.m. Thursday. Police report the electronic ignition seems to be working fine.
A report of a possible drunk driver on Beacon and Green streets at 9:26 p.m. Thursday. Caller reports a black Maserati was on the wrong side of the road, almost struck a tree, and was almost on the sidewalk. Police found the car parked on the side of the road. The driver’s wife was called to pick the driver up and take him home. The car is legally parked. The ex-wife called back and stated that she was intoxicated and didn’t feel like she should pick him up. Driver was taken into protective custody and transported to Salem.

Anna Lebron, 22, of 221 Cabot St., Beverly, was arrested for shoplifting more than $100 by concealing merchandise at Macy’s on Andover Street at 5:38 p.m. Thursday.
Nicholas Moutsoulas, 39, of 128 Washington St., Peabody, was arrested and charged with three counts of breaking and entering during the night time on Sparrow Lane at 2:07 a.m. Friday after reports of someone breaking into multiple vehicles.

A group home bus driver reported a man jumped out of his bus and took off towards Peabody Square at 3:34 p.m. Thursday on Andover Street. The man returned to the bus.
A report of a loud explosion at 7:26 p.m. Thursday on Crane Brook Way. Police located the debris. Nobody was hurt or saw who set the explosion off.
A complaint of a large group of Hells Angels at Capone’s Restaurant at 8:41 p.m. Thursday. Police monitored the area and left without incident.
A report of a male party passed out at in a black motor vehicle at the lights at the intersection of Lowell and Goodale streets at 11:23 p.m. Thursday.
A report of someone threatening to shoot people at Seven Eleven on Lowell Street at 1:42 a.m. Friday. No weapons were shown and the party was transported to Salem Hospital.
A man reported he found out where two poodles who attacked his poodle last week live at 8:30 a.m. Friday. The two poodles were last licensed in 2011 and have no current rabies status.
A Livingston Drive resident reported that two women wearing sundresses were going door to door referencing cats and are unfamiliar to the neighborhood at 12:28 p.m. Friday. Police spoke to the women, who were looking for a lost cat.

A man reported that his credit report shows that someone else is using his name and social security number and has opened an account with Comcast at 3 p.m. Thursday.
A Highland Park resident reported a robbery at their home at 6:20 p.m. Thursday. The resident found an open window and missing jewelry.

Multiple callers reported a wounded swan on Jefferson Avenue at 5:06 p.m. Thursday. Police attempted to contact MSPCA and EPA, but there was no answer. Several pedestrians began gathering in the street, causing a disturbance over the animal. Residents reported taking the swan to Danvers Animal Hospital.
A report of suspicious activity at 8:56 p.m. Thursday at Greystone Road and Appleton Street. Caller reports a group of youths going onto people’s porches and yards. Police report there are no youths in the area.
Theft
A report of a female shoplifter detained at Macy’s Department Store at the Square One Mall at 3:13 p.m. Thursday.
Loss prevention at Kohl’s Department Store reported an attempt to detain a female shoplifter who fled the store at 6:46 p.m. Thursday. Police brought the woman, who was sitting in the parking lot, back into the store. The matter was handled internally and the woman has been banned from the store for one year.
