This Nahant seaside escape is our garden of the week

The Daily Item wants to recognize the hard work of our readers in a variety of ways. Whether you are mentoring youth or making your community a better place, we notice. As the sun continues to shine, many of our gardens are in full bloom.

In recognition of all the hard work being done by North Shore green thumbs, The Daily Item will present a featured garden for each of the next three weeks.

This week’s garden is from Jean-Marc Berteaux, a Nahant resident who carefully tends to his glamorous garden.

Spanning over three terraces, a variety of plants complement his cliffside home, with lavender being his favorite. Berteaux is a member of the Nahant Garden Club.

To be featured next week, email your photos with “garden of the week” in the subject line to [email protected], please include your name, phone number, and captions for your photos.
