Arrests

Janoy Batista, of 53 Smith St., was arrested on warrant charges of Class A drug distribution and Class B drug distribution at 12:23 p.m. Monday.

Edimir Breton, of 106 Boston St., Salem, was arrested on warrant charges of two counts of nighttime breaking and entering and larceny from a building at 3:26 p.m. Monday.

Jhonny Marty, 29, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and attempt to commit a crime at 10:40 a.m. Monday.

A caller reported a skunk was preventing her from getting to her house a 1:02 a.m. Tuesday at Lynnfield Commons at 375 North Broadway. The skunk reportedly ran away.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 9:29 p.m. Saturday at 9 Huntingdon Road. A caller reported a desk was taken from her front lawn.

Vandalism

A report of malicious destruction of property at 11:34 p.m. Sunday at 421 Lowell St. A caller reported her car was vandalized.

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 11:22 a.m. Monday at Lafayette Street and West Shore Drive; at 8:47 p.m. Monday on Atlantic Avenue.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run accident at 2:17 p.m. Monday on Humphrey Street.

Complaints

A report of a suitcase at 4:40 p.m. Monday at Washington and Mugford streets. A caller reported she saw a suitcase on the sidewalk that morning and after the trash was taken, it was still there. She was concerned and didn’t want to touch it. Police reported it was a cooler.

A report of a strong odor of marijuana at 8:37 p.m. Monday on Glendale Road. A caller reported the odor was so strong that it was permeating into his house and didn’t know the house that the marijuana was coming from. Police reported being unable to locate the source.

A caller reported that he returned home and found that his house was egged at 10:39 p.m. Monday on Stonybrook Road. He was told to wash it off so there wouldn’t be any damage.

Complaints

A report of suspicious activity at 4:26 p.m. Monday on Macarthur Circle. A caller reported someone in a suspicious motor vehicle throwing trash out the window; at 8:13 p.m. Monday on Pzegeo Circle. A caller reported a man and woman were walking in and out of vacant homes; at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday at 96 Lynnfield St. A caller reported that there were a few people in an empty house behind him with flashlights. The male stated that his mom was renting the house and it was confirmed with paperwork; at 2:18 a.m. Tuesday at 4 Intervale Ave. A family was woken up by someone or something hitting the house.

A report of operating under the influence of drugs at 6:42 p.m. Monday at Chandler’s Ice Cream at 86 Andover St. Several callers reported a black tow truck from Bill’s Towing was driving erratically through red lights and driving onto the opposite side of the roadway. The truck struck a pole by Chandler’s Ice Cream and continued towards Wilson Square. Stephen Michael Emmith, 30, of 71 Sweetwater St., Saugus, was summoned for OUI drugs, leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and Class A drug possession.

A caller reported her son was being bullied at the YMCA Camp in Peabody at 7:43 p.m. Monday at 259 Lynnfield St.

A report of a disturbance at 9:58 p.m. Monday at 84 Aborn St.; at 10 p.m. Monday at 20 Louis Road; at 10:36 p.m. Monday at 84 Aborn St.

Overdose

A report of an overdose at 10:42 p.m. Monday on County Street. One person was taken to Salem Hospital.

Theft

A report of a larceny at 7:34 p.m. Monday at Brown School at 200 Lynn St. A past theft of a scooter helmet was reported; at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday at YMCA at 259 Lynnfield St. A man reported a theft of hubcaps and damage to a mirror at the YMCA.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 2:07 p.m. Tuesday at 3 Bartlett St. A smashed front door was reported.

Carlos A. Dellosantos-Jiminez, 23, of 76 Western Ave., Apt. 1, Lynn, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and motor vehicle operator refuses to identify self at 11:14 a.m. Monday.

Breaking and Entering

A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 6:12 a.m. Tuesday at 42 Dudley St. A caller reported her motor vehicle was broken into — her ID for work and a small amount of loose change were taken.

Complaints

A report of property damage at 11:19 a.m. Monday at 254 Lincoln Ave. A caller reported the trash collectors for the town threw a trash barrel at her car.

A caller reported her neighbors have been stuck in their pool for several hours because there were skunks circling the pool at 3 p.m. Monday at 54 Stone St. The animal control officer was notified, and reported that the skunks ran into the woods.

A report of a disturbance at 11:23 p.m. Monday at Kowloon Restaurant at 948 Broadway.

Fire

A report of an outside fire at 5:16 p.m. Monday at Walmart at 770 Broadway. A caller reported a small mulch fire.
