Complaints
A caller reported he had lobster traps in the water and another fisherman had taken them at 11 a.m. Tuesday on South Street. He reported that he saw the traps on the back of a pickup truck and was looking for assistance from police.
A report of suspicious activity at 6:13 p.m. Tuesday at Ocean Avenue and Sargent Road. A caller reported a gray Honda pulled up to her while she was walking and stated that he was looking for directions to Revere. The car was driven by a Hispanic man in his 30s with a beard who reportedly told the caller that he was an exhibitionist and asked her if she wanted to watch. She stated that she didn’t understand what that was and he told her to look it up. She looked it up and told him it was inappropriate. He then drove off. Swampscott Police reported the same incident about 20-25 minutes before Marblehead Police did. They had a jogger on Puritan Road who was approached by a Hispanic man in his 20s in a silver car who asked for directions to Revere and then exposed himself before driving off.
A report of a disturbance at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday on Humphrey Street. A caller reported a group walking inbound threw a beer bottle at his car and thought they were drunk.
A caller reported that somewhere next to the yacht club someone had been setting off a cannon at 10:57 p.m. Tuesday on Nashua Avenue. Police reported the cannon was for a memorial service.
