BROCKTON — The North Shore Navigators ended their season on a sour note Sunday, falling to the Brockton Rox, 23-2, in a Futures Collegiate Baseball League game.
The Navs, who got off to a tough start, end the season with a 21-32 record.
North Shore spotted the Rox eight runs in the first two innings.
Brockton scored three in the first and five more in the second.
Despite scoring only two runs, the Navigators had 10 hits, three by Alec Cargin and two each by Billy Buscetto Jr. and Nick Faulkson.
After scoring eight runs in the first two innings, Brockton scored nine in the fourth, four more in the sixth and two in the seventh.
The Navigators got their only runs in the seventh and eighth innings.
