A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 3:27 a.m. Wednesday on Evans Road. A caller reported her husband saw a person inside the family car. He was alerted as he heard a horn sound. The car was parked in the driveway and the person fled the area on foot. The caller didn’t think anything was taken from the car.
Complaints
A report of an egg thrown at a jogger at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday at Ocean and Harbor avenues. A caller was out jogging and reported being hit in the leg by an egg thrown from someone in a black Chevy Tahoe. The owner of the truck was contacted, who reported his 19-year-old son was the driver. Police reported the owner took the vehicle away from his son.

Breaking and Entering
A report of a breaking and entering at 9:54 a.m. Wednesday at 8 Warren St. A neighbor reported the resident is away and he thought that the house was broken into. Police checked the interior and nothing appeared to be missing. Police spoke with the caller who reported that his husband’s vehicle was broken into the prior night. It was unlocked and a wallet with credit cards were stolen.

A report of a disturbance at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday at 44 Holten St. and 6 Pleasant St.; at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday at 5 Union St. A caller reported there was someone inside breaking items. Police spoke with the man, who was upset because his boss owed him $600. He threw his own air conditioner. The boss was not on scene.
A report of a neighborhood dispute at 9:39 a.m. Wednesday at 22 Goodale St. A caller reported a neighbor was putting recently cut trees into a wood chipper. She stated that the trees were on her family’s property and that the downed trees were her evidence of the wrongdoing. There was an ongoing dispute over the property.
A report of a suspicious activity at 9:52 a.m. Wednesday at Dunkin’ Donuts at 162 Washington St. An employee reported that a man was looking at his computer and touching himself.
A caller reported two domestic bunnies under a motor vehicle at 10:03 a.m. Wednesday at 111 Foster St. Police were unable to catch the rabbits. People on scene stated that there is a woman in the vicinity who lets her rabbits roam.

A report of an overdose at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday on Margin Street. A caller reported her sister took prescription pills. She was taken to Beverly Hospital; at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday on Sherman Street. A man was taken to Salem Hospital; at 11:54 p.m. Tuesday on North Central Street. One person was taken to Salem Hospital.
