The Lynn Parks and Recreation summer basketball league continued on Tuesday evening with five games played across its three divisions. Three of the five match-ups were playoff semifinal games, the rest were consolation tilts.
In the elementary consolation game, Gannon Building took a 30-26 win over Salem Five. In the elementary semifinal, Rick Ford walked away with a 54-44 win over RAM Electrical. Rick Ford was led by Denzel Guillen’s 22 points and Almani Medina’s nine points and four rebounds. Xavier Abreu paced RAM with 20 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds while Warren Keel added 15 points and six rebounds.
In the middle school consolation game, Annmarie Jonah Realtor earned a 49-40 win over Lynn Firefighters. In the middle school semifinal game, St. Michael’s Association took a 51-26 win over Robert Irvine and Sons. Rondell Brathwaite led St. Michael’s with 14 points while Hector Celado added 12 points. Nia Sams scored 26 points with four rebounds for Robert Irvine.
In the high school semifinal, John Walsh notched a 57-46 win over Accurate Graphics. John Walsh was led by 15 points and five rebounds from Jeffrey Barbosa. Accurate Graphics was paced by Jeffrey Hill’s 16 points and Dyrell Rucker’s six points and four rebounds.
