LYNN — Police responded to two armed robberies within a three-hour timespan on Monday night.
Police were dispatched to Adams and Ridgeway streets at 9:30 p.m. and encountered a 13-year-old male victim who reported that his sneakers were stolen by two people at knifepoint, Lynn Police Lt. Michael Kmiec said.
A 15-year-old male suspect was arrested and charged with armed robbery.
Kmiec said police are trying to identify the other male suspect, who brandished a knife and took off with the sneakers. The victim claimed the sneakers are worth $1,300.
Shortly before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to Bay View Avenue, where two men, 28 and 31, reported that they were robbed by two men and two women.
“They were struck with what they believed to be a gun and were robbed of some cash and a phone,” Kmiec said.
No arrests have been made.
