REVERE — A 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the back during an attempted robbery on Sumner Street late Sunday afternoon.
Two men had allegedly been trying to rob him, but fled after stabbing the teenager once in the back, Revere police said.
The teen was sent to Massachusetts General Hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Police responded to the incident shortly after 4:30 p.m.
No arrests have been made and the incident is under investigation.
