SWAMPSCOTT — The Humphrey Street area near the Marblehead line went without power Friday morning after a woman drove off the road and struck a utility pole.
The pole snapped in half, causing the outage. The driver was taken to Salem Hospital with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Swampscott Police Department.
