A caller reported a black Jeep with a soft top heading towards the neck with the driver possibly smoking a joint at 10:23 a.m. Sunday at Beach and East Orchard streets. The caller witnessed the driver light the joint and drive off.
A report of an egging incident at 6:30 a.m. Monday on Washington Street. A caller reported her car was hit by an egging that morning and she was also partially sprayed. She thought the people involved were throwing them from a window, rather than a vehicle. Police reported some egg parts could be seen in the street. Another caller reported his car was hit and thought he knew the location of the house involved. Police reported the second floor of 284 Washington St. was the suspected location off the egging, but the occupants would not answer the door.

A report of suspicious activity at 3:47 p.m. Friday at Heritage Heights Housing for the Elderly at 19 Talbot St. A caller reported four young males banged on her door and tried to open it. Her friend, who was in the apartment with her, tried to chase the males, but tripped and fell, injuring her wrist. The suspects fled towards Vine Street. Police reported there didn’t seem to be any entry and it was unclear what the children wanted.
Theft
A report of a larceny at 2:59 p.m. Friday at Sunglass Hut in Macy’s at 1185 Broadway. The supervisor reported nine pairs of sunglasses were stolen overnight, totaling about $3,000.
