A report of a sewage backup at 12:41 p.m. Tuesday on Elm Street. Kids were walking up to the Coffin School because of a sewage backup.
A report of a disobedient teenager at 10:04 p.m. Tuesday on Lee Street. A caller reported a mother screaming at her son about who sets the rules in the house. The woman was reportedly having a problem with her disobedient son. He wouldn’t turn down the music, which was filled with swears in the lyrics. The caller said she lives in an old town so all of the neighbors were listening to it too. She said the teen didn’t have any weapons, but was just being disobedient.
Overdose
A report of an opioid overdose at 11:21 p.m. Tuesday on Lincoln Avenue. A 25-year-old man overdosing was called in by his friend. The man was taken to Salem Hospital.

Breaking and Entering
A report of a motor vehicle breaking and entering at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday at 30 Rainbow Circle. A caller reported her car was broken into and multiple books and bags were taken. Police reported a Coach purse and algebra books were stolen when the car was left unlocked. The caller reported there was also an antique buck knife in the car that was stolen.

A report of a larceny at 3:38 p.m. Tuesday at Stop & Shop at 19 Howley St. Loss Prevention reported someone had stolen multiple items worth more than $200. Police reported only $20 worth of merchandise was stolen; at 4:47 p.m. Tuesday at Peabody Library at 82 Main St. A woman was working at the computer when her purse was stolen; at 8:21 p.m. Tuesday at 45 Washington St. A caller reported she had a package stolen and $200 worth of summer clothes were taken.
SAUGUS
Complaints
A report of a disturbance at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Bristow Street Park. A caller reported a group of kids climbing on the heavy equipment in the park. Police reported four children were playing basketball; at 10 p.m. Tuesday at 45 Walden Terrace.
A report of suspicious activity at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday on Broadway. A caller reported a drone was flying north in the southbound lane and crashed between the travel lane and passing lane. Police responded but were unable to find a crash or debris.
SWAMPSCOTT
Juan Mora, 28, of 330 Paradise Road, Swampscott, and 100 Empire St., Lynn, was arrested and charged with Class A drug distribution and Class A drug possession with intent to distribute at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday.
